With the rapid development of science and technology,people’s research on space exploration,satellite positioning and space station is more and more in-depth,and the resulting demand for space deployable mechanisms are also more and more urgent.The space developable mechanism is a kind of mechanism which can expand from the closed state to the predetermined or expected structure form and can bear the specific load.The space deployable mechanism has been widely used in aerospace field,such as solar cell array,space folding antenna and space extension arm.So far,the foreign research on developable mechanisms have been relatively mature,and many cases have been successfully applied.However,the domestic research on such developable mechanisms is still in the theoretical experimental stage.In this thesis,a new type of space developable mechanism is designed and analyzed based on the theory of origami and bionics.Details are as follows:(1)This paper systematically analyzes the basic configuration of origami mechanism.Then,the theoretical models of single vertex and multi vertex origami mechanism under different degrees of freedom is studied,and obtains the relationship between the number of vertices and the number of creases and the degree of freedom.(2)Based on the basic configuration of the origami mechanism that has been systematically analyzed,and starting from the condition of complete folding of the mechanism,an origami developable mechanism was determined by using the basic theory of origami.Then,the method of the rotation matrix is used on the kinematics analysis and calculate the relations between the output angle and the input angle.Based on the ADAMS,virtual prototype is established,and simulation analysis is carried out to verify the rationality of the mechanism.(3)The topological mechanism of cicada wing is summarized by studying the distribution of the cicada wing’s veins,then we get the reason of its high rigidity and high bearing capacity.In view of the actual developable mechanism,the support structure is designed to ensure the stability of its expansion and the carrying capacity after expansion.By analyzing its stress situation,using the software Abaqus to analyze its main support rod and secondary support rod and obtain the critical load.(4)A spatial developable mechanism is fabricated with Kapton film,and its supporting structure is fabricated with composite materials.Using the pneumatic drive way to test its expansion process and verify the correctness of the design.
