Vehicle deployable antenna has many applications.Due to the different erection sites, the vehicle antenna is more flexible than the fixed base antenna and can adjust the location according to the need,so it has a wide range of applications in the field of meteorological observation, environmental monitoring and so on.Therefore,it is valuable to design a more convenient and reliable deployable antenna based on the task requirements. In order to design such a deployable device, the design and theoretical research of single degree of freedom deployable antenna based on rigid origami are started from the perspective of origami. The main research contents are as follows:From the perspective of origami, using the existing origami model as the research basis, the existing folding model is simplified and improved. The degree of freedom of the improved zero-thickness origami model is analyzed to ensure that the folding mode can also be folded under rigid conditions and the degree of freedom can meet the folding requirements. The theoretical degree of freedom needs to be verified and the final position of the crease needs to be further confirmed. It is necessary to carry out kinematic analysis on the zero-thickness origami model to verify the correctness of the calculation of degrees of freedom, and find a reasonable folding and developing motion path through kinematic analysis to ensure that the origami model can fold and develop normally under rigid conditions. The analysis found that the model still needs improvement. Then we change the Angle between creases and the number of sides of regular polygon to further analyze whether this folding model can be used.It is found that the folding model with different Angle between creases meets the use requirements. After the usable folding model is obtained, the thick-plate folding model is established, and the curved surface processing is continued on the thick folding model.Aiming at the problem of large-area interference of curved folding model, parametric modeling is used to re-model the model, and parameters are modified by control variable method to find a group of parameter combinations that will not interfere in the process of movement. The final model is designed with the combination of parameters obtained at last.Firstly, the shape of the board is designed according to the boundary parameters of the board.Secondly, the rotation pairs are designed on the axis of rotation determined on each board surface to ensure that the board surface can realize normal folding and expansion without interference. Finally, according to the design model, the prototype is made and the folding experiment is carried out.
