Research On Contemporary Exhibition Space From The Perspective Of "Art Intervenes In Rural Areas"

With the advancement of urbanization,Chinese villages gradually decline and even disappear.Since the 19 th CPC National Congress,rural revitalization has been an important strategic goal of socialist modernization,and the continuation of traditional rural culture is the core point of rural revitalization.The innovation of rural culture becomes the breakthrough point for the modernization of rural areas.Nowadays,contemporary art has broken through the material carrier of traditional art,and the exhibition elements and forms of art works are open and diversified.The works presented emphasize the intervention in society and life,are aimed at the interpretation of social problems,and convey the theme spirit of this era with new media and ways.What is important about contemporary art’s intervention in rural areas is not art itself or aesthetic category,but an artistic practice or even a social action.The intervention of art in the countryside is in line with the practice of contemporary art in China.Artists return to the standpoint of China’s social problems and culture,express the subject of social culture independently,realize the independent transformation of Chinese contemporary art,and realize the self-shaping and renewal of China’s rural culture.As a contemporary art of emerging culture,it takes the rebellion against "tradition" as its starting point.While preserving the original style of the countryside,it is intervening in the rural space in a new way and adding more possibilities to the rural space.This paper aims to study with the development of Chinese contemporary art,the particularity and diversity of its artistic works makes the exhibition space is no longer bound by traditional exhibition space,the old "white space" has gradually been replaced with open place,more artists and organizations choose village and town as art practice base,carry out various art exhibitions.Through comparative analysis of successful cases of existing contemporary art exhibitions in rural areas at home and abroad,this paper will study how to carry out contemporary art practice and exhibition space design in the specific field of rural areas,and how this kind of art practice relates to Chinese villages and local people.And how local people get involved in rural contemporary art experiments and influence the results and effectiveness of rural contemporary art experiments.Through the further research of this topic,will try to paint Chinese contemporary art practice in rural reality space is the basic form and law of development,and explore the development trend and future of Chinese contemporary art,through attaches great importance to the local natural environment and the careful use of local elements,to redefine the village space,reshaping China countryside is a special field of contemporary exhibition space.And then excavate the more profound social significance of contemporary art in the context of rural revitalization.
