| At present,the preliminary stowage of the bulk grain carrier stowage system has not been automated,and it still needs manual intervention to adjust the distribution of hold and ballast water in each compartment,so as to calculate the stowage plan that meets the requirements.To realize the automatic generation of a stowage plan that meets the requirements of stability,strength and trim when a special bulk grain carrier is loading and unloading a single grain in a port,this dissertation uses Excel combined with VBA program to store ship-related data in each workbook and to establish links between data.After selecting the load line and inputting the oil-water and grain stowage factor parameters,the program can automatically search the table to calculate the ship’s stability,trim,hull strength and other indicators.By setting the trim requirements,the program can generate stowage alternatives that meet the floating requirements;providing that the stowage requirements are met,that stowage plan will be selected as the stowage plan for the corresponding ship and the program will fill out and print special forms for bulk grain carrier stability calculations.Based on the research on the stowage plan of bulk grain carrier,this dissertation designs a program to assist the loading as well as stability calculation and checking of bulk grain carrier in actual production and operation,which helps to reduce the scope of trial and error of the stowage plan and provides theoretical and practical references for further realization of automatic stowage plan of bulk grain carrier.This dissertation takes the 46,000-ton bulk carrier “SEASPARKLE” as an example.The designed automatic stowage auxiliary program for the bulk grain carrier has the following functions:1.Realizing the functions of ship stability and floating state accounting;2.Automatically listing feasible stowage plans,and determining the optimal stowage plan that meets the requirements through procedures;3.Generating a stowage diagram from the determined stowage plan,and filling out and printing a stability report of bulk grain carrier. |
