Design And Research Of Painted Public Space In Luoyang City From The Perspective Of Heluo Culture

As social economy and urbanization accelerate,the competition among cities becomes especially tense.City,as the carrier of national and regional economic,political,cultural and educational development,needs to establish a good city image to meet the needs of modern urban development.City image is the core part of highlighting the competitiveness of a city,through which the style,cultural heritage and spiritual outlook of a city can be expressed.As a window to show the city’s culture,urban public space plays a vital role in shaping the city’s image and has become a key force in promoting the development of urban culture.Painted art,as one of the artistic expressions in urban public space,plays an irreplaceable role in beautifying the urban environment,reflecting the spiritual outlook of the city,inheriting and developing urban culture,etc.Whether in plazas,scenic spots,subway stations,shopping malls,museums or other public spaces,the expression of painted art can effectively avoid the monotony and homogeneity of urban public space,add beautiful colors to urban public space,and become the finishing touch in the development of urban cultural construction.Starting from the study of Heluo culture,this paper reviews the cultural characteristics of Luoyang city based on the literature and identifies three different cultural themes,namely peony culture,Silk Road culture and ritual and music system culture,and clarifies the significance of Heluo culture-based painting art into Luoyang urban public space.Secondly,the paper explains the scope and concept of urban public space and painted art in Luoyang,and the development status of painted art in Luoyang urban public space,mainly in scenic public space,and further studies and analyzes the relationship between the two;the author also defines the evaluation factors of Heluo culture according to the factor analysis method,and quantitatively screens the most characteristic cultural materials for the design practice with the questionnaire.Finally,this study extracts line sketches,simplifies and exaggerates the screened cultural materials into design elements,so as to create colorful artworks that blend with Luoyang’s urban public space,shape the visual image of unique Luoyang city culture,and contribute to the construction of Luoyang city.
