City Of Growth—The Design And Research Of Continuing Care For Retirement Communities Based On Improving Community Openness Degree

With the gradual increase of the proportion of the elderly population,the elderly have been unable to adapt to the modern and high-density living mode in the city,especially in the comprehensive community.CCRC basically covers all old-age services from home-based old-age care to hospice care.Based on the CCRC model,this paper aims to break the closed interface between the community and the city in order to improve the openness of the community,enhance the connection and interaction between the elderly and the society,improve the vitality of the city and the community and meet the social and emotional needs of the elderly in view of the lack of humanized space brought by the current high-density city.Starting from the relationship between community and city,this paper studies the spatial design techniques and strategies to improve the openness of CCRC.Firstly,this paper expounds the concepts of CCRC and open community,analyzes the development status of CCRC at home and abroad,summarizes the shortcomings of the traditional spatial model of CCRC,and combs out the internal relationship between CCRC space and urban space in combination with the new needs and new positioning of contemporary CCRC.On this basis,the relevant cases are analyzed through graphical analysis method,and then,the design method of improving the openness of CCRC is proposed from four aspects of comprehensive function,urban integration degree and neighborhood interaction.Finally,based on specific design practices,this paper reshapes the relationship between the interior space of buildings and the city,and studies four design methods to improve community openness,including enriching the functional behavior of the community,reshaping the interface form of the community,improving the neighborhood relationship,and activating the public space of the community.This paper innovatively takes the openness of CCRC as the starting point of research,and carries out detailed analysis and practical application of its design techniques.At the end of this paper,the inspiration of the research process and the future research direction are discussed in order to provide some reference for the design of CCRC.
