With the advent of low margin age,it will be more and more difficult for small and micro engineering enterprises to survive and develop in the fierce market competition only by their own strength.The out-dated ideas of fighting alone and satisfied with a small success no longer adapt to today’s market development.In order to survive and develop better,small and micro engineering enterprises must be equipped with the theory of supply chain integration,improve the ability of integrating the supply chain,and utilize all strengths that can be integrated into the supply chain to support their own development.The integration of enterprise supply chain does mean indiscriminate copy,but requires suitable integration strategy on the basis of the characteristics and actual situation of the industry involved.It can be divided into three aspects: internal integration,supplier integration and customer integration.For each aspect,the integration can be completed in three dimensions: strategic integration,process integration and information integration.In this thesis,GMT membrane structure engineering company,a typical small and micro engineering enterprise,is taken as the research subject.In view of the problems in its rapid development,an integration improvement scheme is put forward according to the supply chain integration theory.The proposed scheme is evaluated,and the company’s performance before and after the integration is analyzed.First of all,after a brief description of the research background,purposes,and methods,the thesis analyzes and summarizes the supply chain of small and micro engineering enterprises,as well as the relevant theoretical basis of supply chain integration.Secondly,using the method of questionnaire survey and the theory of supply chain integration,this thesis diagnoses the problems existing in the supply chain management of GMT.It is pointed out that the company mainly has four problems:unstable quality of engineering products,unstable production progress of engineering products,high cost of engineering products,and slow response.Causes of problems are analyzed,which clarifies the ideas for solutions.Thirdly,to address the problems of GMT,this thesis puts forward the improvement scheme of internal and external supply chain integration.From the three aspects of internal integration,supplier integration and customer integration,it carries out improvements in strategic alliance,process coordination and information sharing integration respectively.Finally,using the analytic hierarchy process and Yaahp software,the thesis evaluates the proposed schemes of internal integration,supplier integration and customer integration.The comparative analysis of the company’s performance before and after the integration proves a positive change in the company’s operation performance,and thus verifying the effectiveness of the integration improvement scheme.The current research enriches and perfects the application research of supply chain integration theory in engineering field,and provides theoretical and practical experience and guidance for small and micro engineering enterprises to implement supply chain integration management,which can effectively improve and enhance their management and operation.
