Research On Design Of Parent-child Interaction Space In Urban Park Based On Children’s Painting Test

With the increase of multi child families and the improvement of living standards,more parents begin to pay attention to children’s mental health,pay attention to parent-child communication and interaction in daily life,and also improve the requirements for parent-child interaction space.In addition,children’s cognition and preferences for parent-child interaction space have changed greatly due to the influence of digital media,resulting in the old urban parks unable to meet the needs of parents and children in the new era and lack of attraction.Therefore,this paper hopes to take children’s preferences as the starting point to transform,update or redesign the parent-child interaction space,so as to promote the healthy growth of children and restore or improve the vitality of parent-child interaction space in urban parks.Based on the research and induction of literature and relevant theories,this paper selects Deyang No.1 primary school and Deyang Experimental Primary School for children’s painting test,and interprets children’s cognition and preference for parent-child interaction behavior and space in urban parks at different ages according to the painting content.Combined with the theoretical research and survey results,this paper puts forward the design principles and Strategies of parent-child interaction space in urban parks,and puts forward some suggestions on the key points of spatial planning and design.Finally,Deyang stone carving park is selected to update and design the parent-child interaction space of the park.The main conclusions and results are as follows:(1)As an excellent place for outdoor parent-child interaction,the common parent-child interaction behavior in urban parks includes six types: game type,leisure type,exploration type,sports type,science and education type and display type.The choice of parent-child interaction behavior types and interaction needs are affected by both parents and children.(2)Through the interpretation of 505 children’s painting test works,it is found that children’s cognition and needs for parent-child interaction space in urban parks are diverse.However,generally speaking,children prefer lawn space,amusement facility space,water space and other spaces with relatively high openness,flat terrain or micro terrain changes.Most of them take families as units and participate in game and leisure interaction.Children have a higher preference for space and landscape elements such as plants.At the same time,children prefer to use mild colors with visual perception,or use animation,games and other elements to create a new parent-child interaction space.(3)On the premise of fully meeting the needs of parents and children,the design of parent-child interaction space in urban parks should combine regional characteristics and culture to create a safe,highly interactive,interesting,innovative,harmonious and beautiful parent-child interaction space.Based on the preference of children in the new era,this paper puts forward targeted design strategies for parent-child interaction space in urban parks,such as "enriching and strengthening interaction content","reasonably setting or dividing sites","enhancing spatial heterogeneity" and "using landscape elements to enhance spatial atmosphere" for six kinds of parent-child interaction behaviors.The planning and layout of the space should be safe and convenient.The design and selection of landscape elements,supporting facilities and infrastructure should refer to the subjective preferences of children and the needs of parents and children.(4)Taking Deyang stone carving Park as an example,based on the results of field investigation and questionnaire survey,in view of the monotonous and outdated landscape,outdated design and limited interaction of its parent-child interaction space,the overall layout of the park is adjusted,and from the three aspects of renewal,addition and reconstruction,through local landscape adjustment and renewal,increasing interactive facilities,opening up interactive space or re planning and design,Carry out practical exploration on the renewal design of the parent-child interaction space of the park,strengthen the parent-child interaction function of the stone carving Park,and improve the quality of parent-child interaction.
