Research On The Relationship Between Lingnan Literati Elegant Pseudonym And Gardens In Ming And Qing Dynasties

"pseudonym" is a special cultural appellation popular in Chinese ancient literati groups.It is also called "elegant pseudonym" because it is endowed with literati feelings and shows poetic and elegant temperament.Because of Chinese ancient scholars often named the elegant pseudonym after their surroundings,or transformed their living environment with the image of elegant pseudonym,Therefore,it has an important impact on the aesthetic and construction of Chinese classical literati gardens.In the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Lingnan literati gardens developed rapidly in the historical process of Chinese classical gardens,Under the influence of literati culture,garden culture and pseudonym culture interact with each other,resulting in the pseudonym culture endowed with garden attributes,And formed a unique Lingnan characteristics.This thesis focuses on the relationship between literati pseudonym and gardens in Lingnan area,involving garden elements,garden sites,garden activities and other aspects,so as to analyze the specific application and influence of literati pseudonym in gardens.This thesis sorted out the elegant pseudonym and gardens of Lingnan literati in Ming and Qing Dynasties.Firstly,according to the key words of the pseudonym,the key images are extracted,It can be divided into five types: natural landscape,plant,building,Confucian culture and Taoist culture.Secondly,through the methods of literature analysis and image research,the collection of poetry and painting works,local historical records and image newsthesiss and periodicals of relevant scholars are collected,Combined with landscape examples,this thesis analyzes the historical formation process and connotation image of different types of accolades,so as to construct the relationship system between accolades and landscape architecture.Scholars’ pseudonyms are closely related to the construction of Lingnan gardens.In the study of the relationship between pseudonyms and garden elements,scholars who self label the natural landscapes and plants endowed with Lingnan attributes analyze the embodiment and application of corresponding pseudonym images in garden elements.In the study of the relationship between pseudonym and garden place,Lingnan area,which embodies the regional characteristics of Confucianism and cultural diversity,studies the application of pseudonym of Confucianism and Taoism in guiding the planning of garden place space and atmosphere.n the study of the relationship between pseudonym and garden activities,this thesis discusses how the image of pseudonym guides and influences the aesthetics and theme creation of garden activities with Lingnan characteristics.This thesis analyzes the application and practice of the image of pseudonym in garden elements,garden places and garden activities by sorting out the types of related pseudonyms and combining with the examples of Lingnan gardens in Ming and Qing Dynasties,so as to further expand the research ideas and methods of ancient gardens.
