Optimization Study On Container Yard And Transportation Of Company Z

From the second half of 2020 to the first half of 2021,with the deterioration of the global epidemic,container shipping has been greatly affected.The number of containers detained in and outside the port area in Shanghai every day is four times that before the epidemic.The scattered storage yards outside the port play an increasingly important role in the logistics support of the container supply chain.In reality,each container back yard in the domestic market operates dispersedly,with small scale and volume.The extensive traditional management mode can not bear the rapidly increasing demand for container storage and transportation,resulting in many social problems.Traditional logistics or supply chain theory is facing the challenges of rapid development of fragmented enterprise resource integration and data platform management.This paper is mainly based on logistics,operations research and other theories,and is detailed to digital logistics,intelligent container AI management,route planning and other contents.It takes the yard transportation business of company Z as the research theme,and adopts multi angle interviews with the management of company Z,the grass-roots employees,and the core personnel of the partners upstream and downstream of its business chain as the research method,Put forward the technical and methodological problems existing in the transportation management of Z company’s storage yard at present,lead out the ideas for solving the problems and thinking about the future development direction,put forward the optimization plan,and put forward the solutions from the aspects of system design,site layout,equipment upgrading,strategic plan and personnel motivation.The optimization scheme proposed is of significance to promote the green development and digital upgrading and transformation of company Z and even the container logistics industry.It provides new ideas and methods for the system management and operation mode of small and medium-sized private container logistics enterprises.However,the threeyear rapid growth period of company Z’s six-year operation coincides with the epidemic,the long-term authenticity and validity of the sample data still need to be confirmed,the further growth of subsequent business is greatly affected by the objective environment,and the company’s own team building and financing mode are also in the discussion and decision-making of the management.Many interfering factors make this study limited.
