Research On Renewal And Activation System Of Small Towns From The Perspective Of "Urban Acupuncture"

This thesis mainly focuses on the present situation of small towns in China,attempts to use "Urban Acupuncture" therapy to activate small towns and provides some new ideas for the renewal of small towns.The thesis constructs a basic research framework of " Problems to Strategies",Firstly,this thesis makes an extensive literature review of the main concepts about small towns and city renewal,summarizes the problems of small towns and the characteristics of micro renewal;Secondly,bases on the current situation of small towns and cases study,propose the research path and specific strategies which is focus on relationship design,focus on the core power of public space and architecture to improve interpersonal relationship;Thirdly,an renewal design system based on " Urban Acupuncture " therapy is constructed,which is divided into three steps:,acupoint determination and treatment.Taking the renewal design of Qiansuo shantytown as an example,find the key points in the site by identification and renewal them,to activate the place,provides theoretical support for urban acupuncture therapy in the renewal of small towns.
