Research On The Public Space Design Strategies Suitable For Slow Life Of Small Towns

With the development of China's economy and the advancement of urbanization,people's requirements for the construction of small towns have also shifted from pursuing efficiency to pursuing quality of life.In small towns,slow life is a more common life state.Slow refers not to speed,but to the pursuit of healthy,leisure life and higher quality of life.Due to the lagging development of small towns,there has been a lack of public space that matches the slow life for a long time.The quality of the public space environment is obviously out of line with people's needs.This paper selects the slow living public space as the research object,takes the small town as the research limit,takes the small town residents' slow living demand and the public space status as the starting point,and discusses the overall urban design strategy of the slow living public space from the urban design level.And the space design strategy of pocket parks,squares and parks provides reference and reference for the design and renewal of the slow living public space in small towns.Based on the research on the related contents of slow life and public space,this paper proposes the relationship between behavior and space in combination with behavior-space theory and place spirit,and conducts field research based on behavior and space in the next step.Lay the theoretical foundation.In the survey of Nanao Town,the statistical analysis the total and distribution of the slow-space public space system and the selection of the most representative pocket parks,plazas and parks.Based on the daily behavior patterns and types of activities of small town residents,and summarize the use status and advantages and disadvantages of the overall and local space in the slow living public space.Through the theoretical basis and theoretical research,the overall urban design strategy of slow living public space is discussed from the total amount and distribution of space,the function and environment of slow living network.And combined with the slow life activities types and behavior habits of small town residents,from the perspective of meeting basic functional requirements and optimizing the quality of the space environment.According to the different spatial characteristics of pocket parks,plazas and par ks,the corresponding spatial design strategies are discussed separately.This can make up for the current lack of theoretical research on the slow space public space in small towns,and promote the scientific construction and sustainable development of sl ow living space in small towns.
