| As an incentive method, the salary gap between employees in enterprises has always been the focus of scholars’ research, while the internal salary gap in enterprises,as a part of the research on enterprise salary system, has always been the focus of public attention.State-owned enterprises, which are different from private enterprises, pay their executives more attention by the society. With the rapid development of economy,state-owned enterprises are constantly undergoing reforms.By introducing non-state-owned entities and mixing them in different ways, the reform of mixed ownership that promotes the better development of enterprises is not deepened. At the same time, with the reform of mixed ownership, the salary gap within enterprises has widened, which is because the entry of different ownership has expanded the marketization of executive compensation within enterprises.Does the reform of mixed ownership widen the salary gap,and does the widening of the salary gap have an impact on the operation and performance of enterprises? These are the problems that this article will explore. In this paper,Hisense Home Appliances and Hisense Video, which were proposed and completed in 2020,are selected as case companies.By using case study and comparative analysis, the influence of the salary gap between executives and employees on enterprise performance is explored. The research results of this paper show that after the mixed reform, the internal salary gap will increase; However, the performance of enterprises will decline with the widening of the salary gap.Enterprise Expanding the internal salary gap is not unlimited and arbitrary, but requires certain preconditions, such as good enterprise management efficiency and smooth internal promotion channels.Only when enterprises have these elements, the effect of widening the pay gap on enterprise performance will be more obvious, and simply widening the pay gap may be counterproductive. The innovation of this paper is that there are a lot of empirical data to prove that the increase ratio of salary gap will definitely bring about the improvement of performance, but it has not been confirmed by case studies. In addition, the conclusion of this paper not only enriches the academic research on the reform of mixed ownership and internal pay gap,but also provides some empirical evidence and suggestions for enterprises that want to improve their performance through mixed ownership. |
