Cost management,schedule management,and quality management are the core content of project management,among which cost management is the guarantee for achieving target profits.At the present stage,there are various methods of cost management,and cost management has made some achievements in engineering projects.In engineering project cost management,ex post cost control is paid special attention,while ex ante control options are neglected.Project estimates,estimates,and budgets are fuzzy,and settlement overruns frequently occur.The cost overrun of the engineering project seriously affects the implementation and ultimate benefits of the project.To solve this problem,it is necessary to start from the root of the problem and control the cost of the engineering project from the perspective of comprehensive cost management.This article sorts out the content of comprehensive cost management theory,cost control theory and cost control methods.After introducing the related content of cost estimation,budgeting and control,take the reconstruction project of the main building of Liaoyuan City A Hospital as an example to show the cost estimate of the project,As a result of the budget,put forward the cost control measures of the project.This article first clarifies the relevant theories of project cost estimation,budget and control,and based on the actual situation of the main building renovation project of Liaoyuan City A Hospital,introduces the general situation of the project,and uses the WBS method to decompose the work structure of the project.Develop a project resource demand plan based on the breakdown structure.Secondly,combined the project data to make a preliminary estimate of the main building renovation project,and then refine the cost of each branch on the basis of the estimate,and get the project budget for construction,installation,equipment,and other costs.Finally,design the project cost control organization and principles,analyze the key influencing factors of the main building renovation project cost,propose cost control measures from the design and bidding aspects in the early stage,and propose control measures for labor,material,and machinery costs in the implementation phase At the completion stage,it was proposed that attention should be paid to the filing of completion data and the completion settlement.
