In the era of digital economy,a large number of technological innovations and business model innovations have emerged in domestic and foreign markets.Among them,the way of building a business ecosystem to achieve continuous innovation is highly respected.After nearly ten years of value co-creation,ecological chain enterprises(also known as "ecological complementers")have achieved explosive growth,and some enterprises have even become industry unicorns.However,with the changes in the consumer market and corporate strategies,the negative role of the business ecosystem has become increasingly prominent:the ecological leaders have a greater voice,squeezing the profit margins of the ecological chain enterprises;the high dependence of the ecological chain enterprises on the ecological leaders makes their operations lack independence.sex,etc.Therefore,it is a strategic choice faced by many ecological chain companies to continue to rely on commercial ecological channels or to transform their own brands.This paper uses a case study method to study the transformation of the profit model of ecological chain enterprises:taking Beijing Stone Century Technology Co.,Ltd.(“Roborock”)in Xiaomi ecology as an example,it analyzes its profit model from the original designer of ecological chain products.The whole process of transforming into a private brand.This article will combine the internal and external environment of the enterprise to explore the reasons for the transformation of its profit model;through the vertical comparison of the five elements of profit point,profit source,profit object,profit leverage and profit barrier,summarize the transformation path;with the help of business intelligence tools(Fine BI)The technology is compared with Yunmi and Huami Technology in the same ecosystem,and its financial performance in terms of profitability and operating capacity after the transformation is evaluated.After the above analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The transformation of the profit model of Roborock is the result of the upgrade of the consumer market and the goal of improving the independence of business operations;(2)The core path of the transformation of Roborock’s profit model is to change the profit point and break through the rice(3)After the transformation of Roborock,the profitability and operating ability were better,but the management of idle raised funds was lacking.In addition,considering the long-term development of ecological chain enterprises,relevant suggestions are put forward:first,ecological leaders should reduce their control over the ecosystem and give ecological chain enterprises greater profit margins;second,ecological chain enterprises should optimize their own profit models and establish Own brand to improve operational independence;third,the government provides support to small and medium-sized enterprises and expands financing channels for enterprises.
