| Traditional residence is an excellent traditional culture in our country.It is a dynamic living environment and space place formed by villagers adapting to natural and social development in a period of time and space.It is also a material carrier of regional culture and has rich historical,cultural and artistic value.However,in the process of urbanization in China,with the change of rural society and economy,as well as the change of villagers’income and modern demand,traditional houses are facing the dilemma of protection,and there are also a series of problems and challenges in inheritance and renewal.In the protection and development of houses,there is a lack of effective and systematic design strategies and methods to meet the modern needs of villagers.This thesis takes the traditional dwellings in Songyang District of Zhejiang Province as the research object,conducts a detailed investigation in seven natural villages in Songyang District of Zhejiang Province,understands the change of rural life demand and its influence on the renewal design of traditional dwellings,and analyzes the characteristics of the natural and human environment of the village.By using the demand theory,environmental behavior theory regeneration theory and typological theory,this thesis explores the protection strategy and design new ideas of traditional dwellings.Finally,three different types of traditional dwellings,such as Ye ’s ancestral hall,No.25 dwellings and No.4 dwellings of Songshuwei Road in Huangnan Village,are selected for renewal design practice and empirical research.A set of renewal design methods for traditional dwellings that meet the modern needs of villagers and inherit local cultural characteristics are summarized.This article is divided into six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly around the research background,research object and scope,concept definition,determine the development direction of the thesis.The second chapter summarizes the theory of traditional residential design based on the needs of villagers,combs the characteristics of villagers ’modern life mode,and clarifies the correlation between villagers ’ needs and residential renewal.The third chapter expounds the general situation and characteristics of traditional dwellings in Songyang area of Zhejiang,analyzes the present situation and evolution process of traditional dwellings in Zhejiang,and summarizes the villagers’ demand for traditional dwellings in this area.The fourth chapter,as the key part of the article,puts forward the principles and methods for the renewal design of traditional houses in Songyang,Zhejiang Province.The fifth chapter selects three characteristic traditional dwellings in Huangnan Village of Songyang,Zhejiang Province,to update the design practice,and then theoretical verification.Finally,based on the modern needs of the villagers,the renewal design method of traditional dwellings in Songyang,Zhejiang is formed,in order to meet the modern needs of the villagers,promote the cultural continuation of traditional dwellings,and provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the protection and inheritance of traditional dwellings in Songyang,Zhejiang. |
