Research On Renewal Design Of Old Blocks From The Perspective Of Urban Acupuncture

The old block is the epitome of the early urban development history and the old skeleton supporting the urban growth before the urban expansion.The old block carries the city memory,breeds the market culture and maintains the social network.It is an important place to reflect the city culture and city character.It is the "nostalgia" in the memory of contemporary urban people and a valuable sample to study the context of urban development.With the expansion of urban territory and the shift of urban economic focus,the old urban blocks gradually lag behind the requirements of the times and can not meet the living needs of urban residents to keep pace with the times.Old urban blocks tend to take shape earlier,with smaller scales and fewer functions.They have not been effectively and systematically updated for a long time.The contradiction between the living needs of indigenous people in the block and the stagnation of block development has led to the relocation and flight of some residents.At the same time,there are some phenomena in the block,such as crowding public space,insufficient infrastructure,private construction and population congestion.The problems of block traffic congestion,lack of function,dilapidated environmental style and decline of regional cultural characteristics are becoming increasingly prominent.The old block is gradually out of the track of urban development and has become a serious disaster area of "urban disease".The traditional mode of demolition,construction and renewal will undoubtedly destroy the original street texture,architectural style and population structure of the old block,and make its emotion,memory and cultural value lose.From the perspective of the concept of "urban acupuncture" and taking Yinlong street in Xuchang as an example,the old block is regarded as an urban organ.From the perspective of integrity,we look for the problem core of the "urban disease" of the block,take the landscape and functional nodes as the "needle",and improve the environmental style of the block,enhance various functions of the block and stimulate the vitality of the block through a new way of "small-scale and catalyst".Starting from the concept of "urban acupuncture" and the relevant research of urban old blocks,this paper combs the development context of relevant theoretical research at home and abroad,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research on the renewal of old blocks under the concept of "urban acupuncture".Select three representative old block renewal cases of Dongxi Lane in Guilin,Yongqing square in Guangzhou and Pingjiang road in Suzhou,analyze the renewal process,renewal mode and renewal effect,compare the advantages and disadvantages of the three old block renewal cases,and summarize the existing problems of the old block in China.By referring to the renewal methods of domestic urban old block renewal cases,combined with the concept of "urban acupuncture",and using the treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine for analogy,aiming at various problems in the space,function,style and culture of the old block,the renewal design strategy of the old block from the perspective of urban acupuncture is formulated with the treatment methods of relaxing muscles and activating collaterals,simultaneously attacking and tonifying,harmonizing the exterior and interior,strengthening the foundation and so on.In the renewal design practice of old blocks,taking Yinlong street in Xuchang as an example,by analyzing the survey data and the current situation of the block,find the crux of the "urban disease" of the block,select the appropriate "acupuncture points" according to the "diseases" of the block in space,function,style and culture,and adopt the way of small-scale renewal,by expanding the block space,recasting the block function,straightening the block style The renewal method of continuing the regional cultural characteristics will improve the style and function of the block as a whole,promote the internal vitality growth of the block,and reintegrate the block into the urban development track.
