| This paper attempts to analyze the daily life experience and migration process of three typical urban families from the perspective of gender, and explain the construction logic of the home’s material space, emotional space and power space.Gender theory brings rich and varied interpretation connotations to urban space, and also provides theoretical guidance for planning and design for women’s space fairness. It focuses on real issues involving gender, space and power in different types of urban spaces.Home is a fundamental and important microscopic living space scale, and it is also the place where gender relations are most clearly manifested. The home and gender theory show a deep fit in the existing research results. The research focuses on the rich experience and practice of daily life, and integrates popular frontier directions such as body, emotion, and spatial power. This paper focuses on gender differences, and uses the logic of gender and power theory to interpret behavioral space from a microscopic perspective. In the research paradigm of home, this paper focuses on the internal interaction mode and spatial construction of home, that is,the two-way process in which family members shape the structure of home in daily life and are promoted or constrained by the structure(Chapter 2).This paper selects three urban families of a specific age group in a third-tier city in Guangxi as the research object, mainly focuses on the family members’ daily life experience at home and migration process, conducts participatory observational field investigation, and forms a qualitative in-depth qualitative research..The whole paper runs through two clues: the dual maintenance of emotion on home material and psychology, and the influence of family power on home creation activities. From the perspective of gender, the research shows the construction and evolution of the living spaces of the three families in the physical space and emotional space in the past few decades. In terms of narration,it innovatively integrates the physical, psychological and emotional states of family members in daily life into the construction process of home.Interdisciplinary complements and improves the micro-emotional psychology research on home in the field of urban planning(Chapter 1).This paper mainly adopts the research paradigm of gender space theory, and focuses on the two clues of emotion and power. The following research contents are formed: First, clarify the logic of people’s daily activities in the material space of the home, clarify the meaning of home formed by space needs, the causes of the division of housework, and the formation of the microscopic sense of the home, and reveal the difference between daily activities and gender in the home.(Chapter 3);the second is the spatial identification of emotional labor interpreters, and the analyst’s practice of constructing emotional space(Chapter 4);the third is to reveal the formation of power relations at the three levels of generation, gender and society The power space of the home, and the resulting negative emotions such as space pressure and space anxiety, make women form the process of stressful labor(Chapter 5).This paper attempts to explain the construction of home from three aspects: the representation of home’s material space, the maintenance of emotional space and the inhibition of pressure space, and the final conclusion is formed.(1)The material space of the home is not only the unfolding field of the daily life practice of family members, but also the representation of the daily space practice with gender differences.Families, families and individuals have different needs for the use of home;the division of housework reveals the deep logic of the use of home;the formation of a microscopic sense of territory within the space results in unequal distribution and use of home, and men enjoy more at home than women.personal space.(2)The emotional space of home is shaped by emotional labor to create a sense of spatial identity. The sense of time and space stability brought about by housing property rights is a condition for people to establish a preliminary identification with the living space, and it is also the basis for considering the residence as home. The deep maintenance of home emotion depends on the maintenance of social relationships among individuals, families and communities.(3)Power relations from three aspects: intergenerational, husband and wife, and social gender constitute the power space of the family. The resulting space anxiety and space pressure force women to respond to the spatial power of the home in the way of stressful labor, and may even weaken women’s emotional connection to the home, leading to the division of the home.Various factors such as real environment, gender relations, physical practices, psychological emotions, and power relations interact with each other, and affect people’s construction and experience of home in the form of emotional space and power space. The physical space of home is the representation of daily life practice and gender difference space;the emotional space of home is established by emotional labor, which is manifested as people’s identification and emotional connection to home;the power space of home creates negative emotions such as pressure and anxiety, which make women.Forced to use stressful labor as a spatial strategy. |
