| Chinese classical gardens have a long history.From the early gardens of "you" and "Taiwan" in the Shang Dynasty to the late maturity of the gardens in the Qing Dynasty,they reflect the ancient peopleās reflections on the universe,nature and all things,personal encounters and society.The reason is that Chinese classical gardens are mainly influenced by traditional culture and philosophical thoughts,and the theory of yin and yang and five elements occupies an important position.The current research on the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements can be traced back to the Shang and Zhou Dynasties.Its philosophical connotations cover the fields of Feng Shui,architecture,art,medicine,and even literature.The expression of the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements in the field of gardening has important aesthetic and scientific significance.This research uses the methods of literature research,case analysis,and summarization to analyze the application of the theory of yin and yang and five elements in classical gardens.By consulting the literature and using CITESPACE software,the key words of the research status of classical gardens are clustered and analyzed,and the research hotspots of "Yin-Yang and Five Elements","garden landscape" and "traditional culture" related to the theory of Yin-Yang and Five Elements in China and classical gardens are obtained.Secondly,the concept of Yin-Yang and Five Elements Theory is explored,including the origin of the theory,the cosmology under the Yin-Yang and Five-element thinking mode,the concept and operation law,the Yin-Yang and Five-element theory in the humanistic context,the YinYang and Five-element theory and traditional medicine,etc.The influence of his philosophical thinking on traditional gardens is mainly the concepts of "unity of nature and man","interaction of yin and yang","balance of yin and yang",and "unity of opposites",which are reflected in the spatial and temporal dimensions of gardens.Through the analysis of typical cases of Suzhou classical garden construction from the perspective of yin and yang and five elements,summarizes the five elements theory in classical gardens,such as location selection,stacking mountains and water,landscape structure,garden construction,garden color,plant configuration,etc.The application of elements,and then analyze and discuss the influence of Chinese classical garden construction ideas,aesthetic concepts,time and space implication,and gardening artistic conception,and obtain the "gardening method" of the theory of yin and yang and five elements in classical gardens.Discussing Chinese classical gardens with the thinking of yin-yang and five-element theory will help to interpret the cultural connotation of Chinese classical gardens more comprehensively and objectively. |
