Under the background of the promulgation of the national threechild birth policy,the reform and development of preschool education,and the gradual exposure of problems in traditional kindergartens,the living and learning environment of young children is being challenged,and people’s demand for the quality of kindergartens is getting higher and higher.The traditional adult-led architectural design and The concept of environmental design have been unable to meet the needs of children’s physical and mental development.Therefore,based on meeting the basic functional needs and meeting the requirements of relevant norms,it is essential to design a kindergarten that meets children’s behavior and psychological development.Based on the above realistic background,this paper researches kindergarten architecture and environment design based on behavioral psychology.Firstly,based on the characteristics of children at different stages,as well as the relationship between kindergarten buildings and the environment and children’s behavioral psychology,the paper summarizes the needs of children’s behavioral psychology;Architectural and environmental design principles and strategies;finally,based on the preliminary research,the actual project of Changsha Xiangshan International Kindergarten is planned and designed,and the feasibility of the study is verified by combining theory and practice.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The architectural and environmental design of kindergartens should mainly meet the needs of children in six aspects,namely safety needs,sensory needs,independence needs,game interaction needs,sports needs,and ecological needs—rationalized design of buildings and environments.(2)The architectural and environmental design of kindergartens should follow the principles of safety,rationality,openness and flexibility,ecology,fun,and social friendliness.When designing buildings and environments,it is necessary to pay attention to the scale of children and build rich and diverse space types;respect children’s psychology,organize interesting moving lines,and focus on participating in interactive exchanges;meet children’s needs,integrate natural characteristics,and create richness and diversity transformed space experience.(3)Based on the strategies proposed in the previous stage,the theory of behavioral psychology is applied throughout the actual project design of Xiangshan International Kindergarten in Changsha City.The method of the kindergarten building,the creation of the environment from the atrium space,outdoor activity space,landscape,facilities,etc.,confirmed the strategy’s feasibility. |
