In this paper,in the context of the continuous rise in power demand in China,the three-dimensional model of power pole tower is reconstructed by airborne visible light and lidar technology,and the model is used as a research object to measure the tilt of power pole tower as the starting point to help solve the problem of increasing inspection burden brought about by the growth of power lines.Airborne visible light technology and airborne lidar technology to build a three-dimensional model principle of power pole tower is different,the data that needs to be collected is also different,so this paper first clarified the functions of each part of the airborne experimental platform,completed the specific selection and construction work,selected a key high-voltage transmission line in Heilongjiang Province as the collection area and planned the flight track for two typical power pole towers in the measurement area,and completed the collection of visible light images and lidar point cloud data.Starting from the principle of multi-view reconstruction of the 3D model for visible imagery;for the lidar point cloud data,the model texture and color obtained by visible light were added to the lidar point cloud model through point cloud processing and coordinate conversion,and the 3D reconstruction model of the pole tower containing texture and color information was successfully obtained.The industry standard calculation method is used to verify that the model accuracy meets the requirements of the pole tower tilt measurement task from three aspects: point cloud density,elevation error and plane error.The three-dimensional reconstruction model of the power pole tower extracts the midpoint and coordinates of the equivalent height plane through dimensional conversion,and the coordinates are input to the slope measurement task in the power pole tower tilt measurement program written by Py Charm software,and the measurement method is compared with the results of the traditional power pole tower tilt measurement method,and the measurement method is feasible and the accuracy is improved compared with the traditional method.
