The grid current high voltage transmission line operational mode and the way of inspection,mainly by artificial handheld instrument or to inspect facilities defects to the naked eye,Not only conditions,strength,and low efficiency,already can not adapt to modern power grid safe operation and development.With rapid development of aerospace technology and sensor technology,Unmanned aerial vehicle(uav)or man-machine carry laser radar scanner,GPS,inertial navigation systems such as the integration of the high precision 3 d remote sensing system is widely applied in the power sector.Tower as an important part of the whole power system,due to the use of carrying 3 d remote sensing system for intelligent power inspection is still in its infancy,both at home and abroad for using LIDAR scanning the point cloud tower information extraction study is less,to explore practical tower information extraction method has become the power inspection is an important research topic.This paper focuses on high density airborne laser point cloud of transmission line tower information extraction methods,existing and to improve the extraction and power line tower point cloud point extraction based on cloud,point cloud of tower itself tilt and point cloud information extraction tower on the insulator has carried out two aspects of research:(1)Carried out high density laser point cloud tower tilted judgment method research.Put forward the tower tilted judgment algorithm based on vertical stratification.Through the analysis of tower shape characteristic,the three-dimensional space of tower point cloud projection to perpendicular to the ground in all directions on the two-dimensional space,on this basis,the vertical stratification method is proposed,at the same time,combined with the traditional convex hull algorithm and least squares algorithm to achieve the tilt judgment of tower point cloud.Experiments show that the proposed method can quickly and efficiently to judgment of tower tilted,achieve the expected effect.(2)Carried out based on high density tower point cloud insulator precise positioning method and extraction.Aiming at the common tower type(suspension insulator),combined with the traditional KD tree neighbor domain,radius search method and least squares algorithm insulator suspension insulator Angle positioning,extracted and calculated,the results achieve the expected effect,realized the tower on the location of the insulator fast automatic positioning,greatly save the time of artificial interpretation and has a certain research significance.
