On Landscape Optimization Design Of Hangu Pass From The Perspective Of Chinese Taoist Culture

A number of archeological inheritances with distinct characteristics have emerged in China over the long history.These historical sites have witnessed the ups and downs of China for thousands of years.Although the spirit of these sites has mostly changed,they still have profound cultural value,which is worth inheriting for future generations.In modern times,the design methods of historical sites in Landscape Architecture Design are excessively influenced by the western theory,resulting in Chinese gardening techniques gradually fading.While lack of spiritual culture causes the designs loses cultural support.In the future development of landscape design industry,spiritual culture will be exhausted.Therefore,culture is always the spiritual source of the development.Taoist culture is not only an important participant in Chinese history,but also in Chinese traditional culture.In landscape design,Taoist culture is inseparable from Chinese classical gardens as a booster for the development direction of landscape design in the world.This paper discusses the influence of Taoist core theory on the development of Chinese ancient and modern gardens,and sorts out the landscape design techniques under Taoist ideology.Through the methods of literature citation,field investigation,questionnaire,case study and induction,the paper studies the research and practice of Taoist culture at home and abroad.Focusing on the example of Hangu Pass,the paper explores the reference of Taoist philosophy represented by Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi and landscape architecture under Taoist culture over historical evolution and social evolution.The sustainable development theory,ecological theory,ecological aesthetics as the theoretical basis,scientific protection and sustainable development,ecological priority,tourist experience as the principle,with reference to the space construction method under the Taoist Culture,focuses on the functional zoning,traffic organization,landscape space and importance of Hangu Pass To optimize nodes.The innovation of this paper lies in points.The innovation of this article is based on the investigation results of the present situation of the Hangu Pass,and based on the Taoist culture,it proposes a rational optimization design strategy.
