Color Extraction And Application Research Of Purple Plant Dyes

With the continuous development of society,people are more and more concerned about the sustainability of the ecological environment.Therefore,key words such as "green,healthy,ecological and environmental protection" have become important conditions for people to choose home products.In this context,the traditional plant dyeing method is being paid more and more attention to.Plant dyeing is environmentally friendly,can be integrated with the natural environment,and is biodegradable,which is in line with contemporary people’s pursuit of quality of life.As a branch of plant dyeing,purple has been rare in the history of plant dyeing because it is more difficult to extract the dye.Therefore,the subject chose purple-based plant dyes as the research object to explore the application of plant-dyed purple in household product design.Firstly,through literature research method and countryside research method,the current research status in the field of purple-based plant dyeing at home and abroad,as well as the origin development and material process research of plant-dyed purple were sorted out.On this basis,the historical and cultural characteristics of plant-dyed purple and modern design application practice were summarized,and the aesthetic idea of plant-dyed purple was proposed.At the same time,through experimental research,four methods of plant-dyed purple were clarified and purple color cards were made,providing themes and guiding methods for subsequent design practice.Secondly,this thesis uses experimental analysis to conduct color extraction and dyeing experiments on comfrey,sumac,pentandra and dried mulberry to summarize the dyeing formula and color distribution.Combined with the case study,it provides a reference for the combination of plant dyeing purple color and home product design practice.Based on the theoretical and experimental basis,this paper analyzes the market situation and modern design methods of plant-dyed violet in combination with market research,and fully explores the characteristics of plant-dyed violet such as warm and rustic color,fabric environmental protection and health,and inherited traditional craft.The plant-dyed purple in the subject has gained more expressions with the addition of modern technology and materials,and on this basis,the design positioning is combined with modern household products.This paper takes the purple color derived from the plant color extraction and dyeing experiment as the design center,and completes three series of "Twilight Mountain","Night" and "Lotus Root" with the theme of purple color.Home products.
