Research On The Application Of Hakka Children’s Hat Elements In Fashion Design In Southern Jiangxi Province

As the fifth batch of intangible cultural heritage in Jiangxi Province,the Hakka Tong Hats have been handed down for over 600 years.Through continuous migration and the passage of time,the Ganan Hakka hats have formed a unique artistic style.It is the product of the Hakka people’s unique wisdom crystallisation and emotional attachment,and its unique modelling characteristics,rich diagram style,profound cultural connotation and unique symbolic meaning are worthy of our further research,exploration and study.The study is divided into the following aspects: firstly,the background and research method of the Gannan Hakka children’s hat;secondly,the artistic characteristics of the Gannan Hakka children’s hat are studied and discovered;secondly,the application of the Gannan Hakka children’s hat to clothing is analysed;finally,the Gannan Hakka children’s hat is brought into the clothing design from the style structure,pattern and colour as well as the material reference.Through the extraction of the traditional elements of the Gannan Hakka children’s hat,it is clear that the Gannan Hakka children’s hat craft elements,pattern elements and colour elements are applied to the design of modern clothing,and combined with professional knowledge and modern aesthetics to propose practical and innovative design methods,which not only can broaden the richness of Hakka elements in clothing design,but also can cause some attention to the traditional culture being gradually marginalised,making the Gannan Hakka children’s hats are passed on in a living form.
