During the hundreds of years of industrialization,human beings have released a large amount of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.In recent decades,the environmental destruction caused by greenhouse gases has gradually been realized,and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions has become a consensus around the world.In 2020,China proposed the "two-carbon" goals of "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutrality",which put forward new requirements for the China’s agricultural development model.Agriculture also produces a lot of greenhouse gases.So,research on the efficiency of China’s agricultural carbon emissions and its influencing factors,and evaluating the potential of China’s agricultural carbon emission reduction space are the basic work to respond to the requirements of the "double carbon" goal,and it is also the main question of this paper.Based on the theory of total factor carbon emission efficiency and using the stochastic frontier analysis model,this paper measures the agricultural carbon emission efficiency of 30 provinces(cities)in China in the past 15 years.On this basis,combined with the panel Tobit model,an empirical study carries out on the influencing variables of China’s agricultural carbon emission efficiency.The study finds that:(1)The agricultural carbon emission efficiency in the eastern region is the highest,followed by the northeast region,the above two regions are above the national average level,the central region is close to the national average level,and the agricultural carbon emission efficiency in the western region is the lowest.(2)The coefficients of rural economic development level,degree of mechanization,education level and rural electricity consumption are positive,which have a positive impact on the improvement of China’s agricultural carbon emission efficiency,and the coefficient of cultivated land affected area is negative,which hinders agricultural carbon emissions.Efficiency improvement.At present,China’s agriculture is transforming from a traditional development model to a sustainable low-carbon model.Studying the efficiency of agricultural carbon emissions and its influencing factors is important to promote high-quality agricultural development,promoting the construction of ecological civilization,and achieving the "double carbon" goal.realistic meaning. |
