As a fluid diversion device,multi way pipes are widely used in fields such as petrochemicals,automotive appliances,aerospace,etc.With the deepening promotion of the concept of cost reduction,efficiency enhancement,and sustainable development,lightweight technology has become one of the important means of product design and manufacturing.The parts of internal high-pressure forming technology have the advantages of high integration,good surface quality,and high strength and hardness.However,the use of internal high voltage technology relies on expensive and complex internal high voltage source equipment,and the long cycle of boosting and unloading limits its promotion and application to a certain extent.In response to the shortcomings of conventional internal high-pressure technology,this paper proposes a new progressive impact hydraulic forming process.Through the feeding action of the press punch,feeding and pressurization are achieved.Through multi-pass progressive forming,the quality of branch pipe forming is improved and the thinning rate of pipe blank is reduced.This process does not rely on complex CNC high-voltage source equipment,reduces production costs,and has certain development potential and application prospects.This article conducts the following research on the forming of T-shaped pipes under progressive impact hydraulic loads:(1)Introduced hydraulic bulging technology,analyzed the development history of impact hydraulic bulging technology and multi-pass progressive impact hydraulic forming process,introduced the research status of multi way pipe forming methods,forming devices,and forming laws,and laid the foundation for subsequent research on multi way pipes.(2)Analysis of progressive impact hydraulic forming process.The principle and implementation steps of the progressive impact hydraulic forming process for T-shaped pipes were introduced;Calculate and analyze the stress during the hydraulic bulging process of T-shaped pipes,analyze the equipment load required for T-shaped pipe forming,and provide reference for the testing of T-shaped pipes.(3)Research on T-shaped tube forming experiment.A T-shaped tube forming mold was designed,and conventional hydraulic bulging tests,1 pass,2 pass,and 3 pass impact hydraulic forming tests were conducted on copper tubes using an internal high-pressure forming machine.Obtained parameters such as the height of the T-shaped pipe branch,the top fillet of the branch,wall thickness,hardness,and surface roughness.(4)Research on the Forming Law of T-shaped Pipes.Comparative analysis was conducted on the parameter changes in different parts of conventional hydraulic bulging forming and impact hydraulic T-shaped pipes with different passes.Revealed the changes in wall thickness,hardness,and surface roughness of T-shaped pipes under different loads.Through theoretical analysis and experimental research on the progressive impact hydraulic forming process of T-shaped pipes,the forming law of T-shaped pipes under progressive impact hydraulic load has been revealed,laying the foundation for subsequent research on the progressive impact hydraulic forming technology of T-shaped pipes.
