Natural disasters caused heavy losses of life and property, the disaster areas are in urgent need of a large number of emergency supplies for rescue, epidemic prevention and post-disaster reconstruction work. However, complicated road conditions and bad weather conditions make modern emergency supplies distribution face many challenges, resulting in low distribution efficiency. In order to deal with this problem, many high technologies have been applied to the distribution of emergency supplies.Drones, with their fast speed and no reliance on road infrastructure, can deliver goods in a short amount of time during emergency supply distribution. Therefore, combining vehicles and drones for coordinated delivery can effectively complement the shortcomings of both transportation tools, thus improving the delivery speed of emergency supplies during sudden disasters. This article first analyzes the problem of emergency supply distribution using vehicle and drone joint delivery in the context of emergency logistics.Secondly, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process is used to classify emergency materials according to importance, timeliness, and transportation costs.Compared to the traditional "truck-drone" joint delivery model, this article uses heterogeneous drones to construct an "truck-heterogeneous drone" collaborative distribution model and solves a 10-node example using the LINGO solver to test the effectiveness of the model.A variable neighborhood search algorithm suitable for this model is designed, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is tested using standard Solomon examples R206,C206,and RC206 for small, medium, and large-scale data.In addition,in the comparative analysis, the variable neighborhood search algorithm is used to solve the homogeneous drone, which is compared with the heterogeneous drone adopted in this paper. Finally,to clarify the impact of drone range and speed on delivery time, sensitivity analysis is performed. The research results show that the variable neighborhood algorithm in this article can obtain good accuracy and stability within an acceptable time range. The sensitivity analysis shows that the drone range and maximum payload have a certain impact on the delivery time.As the drone range and maximum payload increase, the delivery time decreases rapidly and then levels off.The comparative experiment shows that the use of two different types of drones in the process of emergency supplies distribution will help to improve the distribution efficiency.
