Research On The Application And Design Of Han Dynasty "ShenYi" In Modern Women’s Wear

In recent years,Hanfu,Guochao and Chinese-style clothes have attracted much attention.The upsurge of traditional culture stems from the enhancement of economic strength and cultural identity.The Hanfu market is expected to reach 19.11 billion yuan in 2025,according to i Media Consulting.The rise of Generation Z has gradually become the main group of clothing consumption.In this context,the research on Shenyi in Han Dynasty is of great significance and value.At present,both the theoretical research of traditional Shenyi and its modern design application still have a lot of research space to be further.Shenyi is one of the earliest clothing forms in China.Shenyi garment are joined together and cover the whole body.The flat structure of straight cut has the characteristics of integrity,and pays attention to the spatial relationship around the body.Its aesthetic motivation is based on the philosophical thought of complementary Confucianism and Taoism.The research on the shape,aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of Shenyi is the foundation of modern design transformation.This paper focuses on the traditional culture,the aesthetic concept of modern women and daily life.The author extracted the typical clothing elements of Shenyi in the Han Dynasty,then transformed the extracted elements into designs,and summarized the design techniques.The cultural connotation of Shenyi should be grasped as a whole instead of the overall application of shape and structure,and the partial element of Shenyi should be combined with modern clothing elements to inject modernity and fashion sense,emphasizing comfort and practicality.For example,the style and structure of "Shenyi" adopt simple and exaggerated deformation,element recombination and partial replacement design techniques.As Wu Guanzhong said,"Those deep-seated things in Chinese tradition that can transcend the times should be reborn through the baptism of modern consciousness and culture,and give them modern significance again." In addition,we should exploiting the commonalities of Eastern and Western cultures,breaking the time limit in creativity,transforming traditional culture into modern culture and integrating it into international fashion.
