Research On The Application Of Traditional Pankou Design Elements In Modern Women’s Wear

As one of the elements of Chinese traditional culture,the pankou has become the symbol of Chinese traditional dress culture in the change of ancient and modern times,which contains profound cultural value and national spiritual connotation.However,with the development of industry,the development situation of Chinese traditional handicrafts is not optimistic.Problems such as high cost,long time and difficult technology have become the culprits for accelerating its decline.Firstly,through the literature research method,this paper sorts out the development process of pankou and excavates its cultural connotation and national characteristics under the political and economic factors of The Times,so as to provide theoretical reference for researchers in the field of pankou,a traditional Chinese element,on the development context and causes behind it.After that,by analyzing the expression form,aesthetic meaning and technological characteristics of the pankou,it summarizes its artistic characteristics,from the surface to the inside,from the appearance to the inside,excavates its cultural core value,and explores the essence of the pankou,an excellent traditional culture condensation.Secondly,since the development of the pankou,there have been countless examples of its application in the field of modern fashion design.Through case analysis,the application of designers on the design elements of the loop shape,material,color and arrangement of the pankou is deeply analyzed,and the progress made on the innovation and development of the pankou element is summarized,and the innovation direction not involved is put forward.It means that on the basis of previous design and application,it triggers thinking about how to further diversify and innovate the development of pankou design elements in the field of modern fashion design.Thirdly,through practical research method,explore the possibility of using other methods to innovate the design elements of the pankou.The paper conducts experiments in two directions:one is to innovate the buckle method by combining the buckle method with the shape of pankou.This method not only retains the traditional buckle method and aesthetic cultural value of pankou,but also meets the wearing habits of contemporary people in the context of fast-paced times.The second is to combine the three-dimensional representation of the pankou with the two-dimensional planar representation in three ways to carry out innovative practice.Finally,based on the preliminary theory,case analysis and possibility experiment,the design innovation practice is carried out.The innovative design expression is carried out by combining the fish-algae pattern with the pankou design elements in modern women’s wear.The scheme is determined by the research of modern fashion trends,drawing sketches and rendering drawings,etc.Finally,the series of garments are produced and displayed.The purpose is to inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese cultural element of pankou through the way of modern clothing design,change its stereotype,give it the connotation of The Times,highlight its cultural value,and contribute to the construction of a cultural power.
