As a local trunk railway in Hebei Province,Handan-Huanghua Railway mainly undertakes the transportation of metals and ores from Huanghua Port to Handan Xingtai Shijiazhuang.At present,its freight capacity has tended to saturation,it is necessary to consider the capacity expansion plan according to the actual situation.In addition,the strategy of "Transportation power" proposes that the concept of ecological environmental protection should run through the whole process of transportation infrastructure planning,construction,operation and maintenance.In view of this,based on the traditional capacity expansion scheme,this thesis introduces the life cycle carbon emission analysis method to compare and select the capacity expansion of Han-Huang Railway.The main work is as follows:(1)The present conveying capacity of Han-Huang Railway is analyzed.Based on the relevant theories of railway passing capacity and conveying capacity,by analyzing the passing mode of trains in restricted section,the parallel running diagram of trains is compiled,the passing capacity of Han-Huang Railway is solved,the utilization rate of passing capacity of each section of Handan Railway is analyzed,and the capacity expansion section and the two kinds of expansion schemes of passing station and moving block are determined.(2)The transport capacity increment of two expansion schemes is calculated.Aiming at the moving block scheme,the tracking interval time and the number of tracking trains are determined,and the incremental range of capacity expansion is calculated.In view of the scheme of passing station,according to the number of trains running in each section of Han-Huang Railway and the distance between stations,the section of building the station was determined,the train running diagram after building the station was compiled,and the capacity expansion increment was calculated.(3)Total carbon emissions are calculated.According to the whole life cycle theory,the carbon emission of the construction facilities in the capacity expansion scheme is divided into three stages: material production,construction and maintenance.The carbon emission of this part is solved by using the life cycle carbon emission model.For the carbon emission of trains in operation stage after capacity expansion,train dynamics equation was used to determine train working conditions according to LKJ data,train operating energy consumption under different working conditions was solved,and carbon emission of trains in operation stage was solved by combining dynamic power carbon emission factor.(4)The comparison of two expansion schemes is realized.The carbon tax is used to convert part of the carbon emissions of construction facilities into fixed costs,and the carbon emissions of operation stage into variable costs and fixed costs of reconstruction to sum up the total costs,and the incremental cost function of unit freight transport for the two expansion schemes is solved.The results show that when the increase of the capacity expansion demand of Han-Huang Railway is less than 8.959909 million t,the scheme of building the passing station should be selected.When the demand capacity expansion increment is 8.95909~12.31875 million t,the moving block capacity expansion scheme should be selected.
