Marx’s Theory Of Natural Productivity And Its Ecological Development In The New Era Of China

The theory of natural productivity is an important part of Marx’s theory of productivity,and its in-depth analysis and research on the important role of natural factors in human economic activities and the mechanism of their influence occupies a place in both Marx’s political economy and historical materialism theory.As Engels said,"The theoretical thinking of every age,including the theoretical thinking of our age,is a product of its time." Any theory depends on certain conditions of the times,takes the practical activities of a particular era as the basis of reality,and takes the phenomena provided by a particular practical activity as the material of understanding and the object of research.Likewise,any theory has its unavoidable historical limitations and needs to be constantly developed and innovated according to new materials of social reality.Marx’s theory of natural productivity is no exception.Especially since entering the new era,protecting the environment has become the consensus of the society,and the harmonious development of man and nature has become the new human development goal.Both social practice and theoretical systems urgently need to incorporate environment and ecology into their observation horizons.With the addition of the ecological dimension,Marx’s theory of natural productivity rises to ecological productivity.Ecological productivity is an important development of Marx’s natural productivity in contemporary China,and the "two mountains theory","ecological productivity theory" and "ecological wealth theory" in Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought A series of important assertions such as "two mountains theory","eco-environmental productivity theory" and "eco-environmental wealth theory" in Xi Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization are the new achievements of Marx’s productivity theory in the present era.This thesis focuses on the ecological development of Marx’s theory of natural productivity in contemporary China from four aspects.The first part systematically discusses the formation conditions,basic contents and historical limitations of Marx’s theory of natural productivity.Marx’s theory of natural productivity was formed during the period of rapid development of capitalism.By digging and organizing the basic contents of Marx’s theory of natural productivity,i.e.,Marx’s concept of natural productivity,characteristics,role and influence,and then analyzing the prerequisites and the scope of adaptation embedded in Marx’s theory of natural productivity in the context of the characteristics of the era of capitalist development and the development stage of capitalist production activities at that time,we summarize Marx’s theory of natural productive forces is significant and its historical limitations are difficult to avoid.The second part derives the ecological expansion of Marx’s theory of natural productivity from the rapidly rising status of ecological factors in social development,a change in the conditions of the times,and comprehensively sorts out the inevitability of the ecological expansion of Marx’s theory of natural productivity in contemporary China,i.e.,the increasingly severe ecological environment in China,the entry of socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era,and the growing ecological needs of the people,combined with the relevant theoretical The third section summarizes the ecological productivity theory,which is the result of the ecological expansion of Marx’s theory of natural productivity in contemporary China,in light of the ecological implications of Marx’s theory of natural productivity,the ecological ideas of successive leaders of the Communist Party of China since the founding of New China,and the ecological ideas of traditional Chinese culture.The third part summarizes the scientific connotation of the ecological productivity theory and its innovation and development of Marx’s natural productivity theory.Within the scope of the ecological productivity theory,the concept of ecological productivity is clearly defined,and the three aspects of the ecological productivity theory,namely,its basic connotation,practice and development goals,are systematically elaborated to grasp the core ideas and theoretical essence of the ecological productivity theory.It also analyzes the innovation and development of the ecological productivity theory to Marx’s natural productivity theory in three aspects:scope,wealth,and market-oriented operation.The fourth part elaborates the practical value of the ecological productivity theory.Combining the development characteristics and requirements of the new era,it is pointed out that under the conditions of the new era,the ecological productivity theory not only provides guidance for China’s economic construction and ecological construction,provides solutions to global ecological problems,but also provides impetus for the early realization of beautiful China.
