A Study On The Evolution Of Qixie In The Qing Dynasty From The Perspective Of Ethnic Culture

The Qing Dynasty,as a monarchical dynasty established by Chinese ethnic minorities,showed the characteristics of multi-ethnic integration under the rule of Manchu nobles,and its costumes were gorgeous and highly ethnic.As one of the outstanding representatives of clothing in the Qing Dynasty,qixie have unique shapes and exquisite patterns,which contain the interpretation and inheritance of traditional aesthetics and have high artistic research value.At the same time,as shoes with unique Manchu characteristics,they carry the pursuit of social aesthetics and the blending of ethnic culture.However,at present,there is little systematic research on qixie in the academic circle,and there is insufficient research on its evolution process and the culture behind it.Therefore,in-depth study of qixie is helpful to understand the cultural characteristics of multi-ethnic in the Qing Dynasty and has important practical significance for inheriting and carry forward Chinese traditional costume culture.Based on this,the article collected about 700 pieces of qixie as research samples through on-the-spot investigation,online collection,and book images.Firstly,the origins and developmental processes of qixie are analyzed using the method of mutual proof of pictures and texts.The relationship between shoe types in different periods is determined,and the basic classification and collocation art of qixie are summarized.Secondly,through image analysis and statistical methods,the artistic characteristics and morphological evolution process of qixie are summarized.The transformation from practicality to aesthetics is completed,and the main factors affecting the evolution of qixie,including natural environment,political economy,religious culture,and ethnic culture,are identified.Further more,the paper analyzes Manchu qixie,Han bow shoes,Mongolian boots,Tibetan boots,and Uyghur embroidered shoes using methods of induction and comparison combined with multi-disciplinary comprehensive research.The paper concludes that under the background of multi-ethnic cultural exchange and integration,various shoe styles in the Qing Dynasty interacted with each other while still adhering to their own characteristics,contributing to the brilliant clothing culture of the Qing Dynasty.Finally,qixie will be transformed into modern designs,and as a theoretical extension,the artistic features of the flag shoes will be combined with modern design to complete a series of design works.The article hopes to further explore the profound cultural connotation behind the qixie by studying the qixie and ethnic culture of the Qing Dynasty,and provide certain data support and research reference for the research of the foot clothing culture and even the clothing culture of the Qing Dynasty.At the same time,it provides certain theoretical support and research foundation for the study of ethnic clothing and culture,and also hopes to provide inspiration and inspiration for Chinese shoe and boot design through this theoretical research and design attempt.
