| With the rapid economic development and the continuous improvement of people’s quality of life,facial mask has attracted much attention as a fast and convenient consumer product for skin care.Generic sheet facial masks are disposable,which generate tons of waste yearly,putting pressure on resources and the environment.With the popularization of the application of degradable materials,the use of degradable materials in facial masks reflects the advantages of environmental friendliness and resource recycling,and is in line with the development concept of"low carbon economy".In order to understand the demand of mask consumers and the supply of products,this paper has analyzed consumers’habits of using facial masks,consumers’evaluation and demand for existing mask products through market research and questionnaire surveys.The results of the research show that consumers have put forward demands for natural and safe materials,diversified and long-lasting functions of the base fabric,the fit and comfort of the use process,etc.In addition,there is an overwhelming majority of myopic mask consumers who urgently need to solve the problem of wearing glasses that fall off easily when applying the mask.This paper proposes a multifunctional mask design based on biodegradable materials according to user requirements.Firstly,in the design of the mask base fabric,the PPE as functional additives blended with neat PLA to granulate by screw extrusion,then the PLAF were prepared by melt polymerization spinning,the composite non-woven fabric was prepared by adjusting the ratio of regenerated cellulose fiber(RC)and polylactic acid fiber(PLAF).A systematic study of the mechanical properties,air permeability,moisture permeability and water absorption revealed that the mask substrate had excellent conformability as well as good air permeability(3324.95 mms-1),water vapor transmission rate(163.73 g·m-2·h-1)and water absorption rate(6.53%)when the RC/PLAF blending ratio was 40/60.The mask base fabric prepared by the above optimized design(RC/PLAF 40/60)not only retains the degradable properties of the material(weight loss rate 26%within 25 days),but also endows the mask with antibacterial and antioxidant functions(S.aureus 89.8%,E.coli 76%,DPPH free radical scavenging rate 68%).Then,in the structural design of the mask product,according to ergonomics theory and the demand of wearing glasses when applying the mask for myopic people,combined with the characteristics of the permanent function of the base material load itself,in accordance with the principle of mutual adaptation between people and the mask,optimize and determine the anti-slip design scheme of the local contact point between the glasses nose support and the mask.Finally,the mask designed by this subject has been evaluated by users,and it is considered that the local anti-slip design of this product is convenient and effective to use,and targeted to solve the needs of myopic people to wear glasses when applying the mask,and has safety and comfort.The material of this subject product is degradable and functional,which not only alleviates the environmental pressure,but also overcomes the problem of poor functional durability.And solve the needs of target users through the structural design of mask products,and provide new ideas for the development and application of new mask base fabrics and the development of travel and portable compressed masks. |
