Design And Development Of Academic Dress

Academic dress is an important part of the academic degree system.This paper takes Qingdao University as the research object,designs a new academic dress for Qingdao University based on the 1994 edition of academic dress,and further combines traditional elements,urban characteristics,university culture and academic positioning.Firstly,the background,significance,content and methods of the research are clarified.Sorting out the cultural background and design practice cases of the current academic dress in the world: exploring the worldwide origin and evolution process of academic dress,and summarizing the introduction and regional design cases of academic dress in different regions of the world;To sort out the evolution of the domestic academic dress and analyze the outstanding innovative design cases in the past 20 years.Through the research on the theory and practice of academic dress at home and abroad,the design law is summarized and the design direction is defined to provide support for the final practical work.Secondly,through the form of interview and questionnaire survey,collect the pain points and needs of the use of academic dress of Qingdao University.Conduct in-depth interviews with college leaders and professors of Qingdao University,collect constructive opinions on the design of academic dress,and further summarize the design principles and framework;Conduct a questionnaire survey on all teachers and students in Qingdao University,collect the pain points and needs of academic dress use,and define the design practice direction.Finally,through the data analysis of interviews and questionnaires,combined with previous theoretical research results,the design objectives,principles and framework are constructed.According to the design framework,put forward a variety of different styles of design schemes;Solicit opinions for the first round of design schemes in Qingdao University,select design schemes and further optimize them;After optimization,the second round of design scheme screening is carried out to determine the final design scheme;According to the program,the academic dress is made.
