| In recent years,the wool textile industry has developed rapidly,especially in the garment industry,because of its warmth,comfort and some other advantages.The surface of wool is covered with overlapping cuticle cells(scales),and the cuticle cells have complex structures,resulting in the destruction of surface scales at high temperature(95℃)and easy staining.With the deterioration of the ecological environment,low energy consumption and environmental protection dyeing is becoming more and more important for the textile industry.The energy saving process of wool low temperature dyeing is very attractive.It can not only significantly reduce the production cost,but also reduce the fiber damage.The electrochemical staining method has the advantages of simple process,convenient operation,less salt dosage and quantitative control.In this paper,wool was dyed at low temperature by electrochemical combined with rare earth salt to determine the best dyeing process.Firstly,under the condition of hydrogen peroxide/thiourea redox,plus a DC power supply,using platinum electrode as the dyeing electrode,the cathode area as the dyeing area,the wool was electrochemically combined with rare earth by reactive dyes.The dyeing rate,fiber strength,SEM,infrared and other characterization tests were carried out on the prepared samples.The electrochemical test of the electrode was carried out to determine the optimal dyeing process of wool electrochemically combined with rare earth.The experimental results show that the application of electrochemical dyeing temperature is reduced from 95℃ of conventional dyeing to 75℃,the dyeing time is reduced from 60 min to 45 min,and the dyeing rate is increased from 52.3%to 97.51%.Electrochemical dyeing can effectively improve the dyeing rate of wool.According to the breaking strength of the fabric,electrochemical dyeing has little effect on the breaking strength of wool.Compared with the electrochemical dyeing without rare earth,the electrochemical dyeing with rare earth cerium chloride in the dyeing solution reduces the dyeing current by 1m A,shortens the power-on time by 5min,shortens the dyeing holding time by 5min,and improves the dyeing rate.The power-on time of electrochemical mixed rare earth(The mass percentage of CeCl3 is 65%,LaCl3 is 35%.)dyeing and electrochemical single rare earth dyeing was shortened by 5min,and the dyeing rate was improved.The optimum process conditions of electrochemical combined with rare earth dyeing of wool are as follows:the content of mixed rare earth is 1.5%,the dyeing temperature is 75℃,the current is 1.0m A,the power-on time is35min,and the holding time is 50min.Compared with the conventional dyeing of wool,electrochemical dyeing can improve the dyeing rate,reduce the dyeing temperature and shorten the dyeing time. |
