The transfering device is the most important component of the tire building machine,and its transfering accuracy and clamping accuracy directly affect the tire quality,its transfering speed and clamping speed directly affect production efficiency.This research aims to analyze the transfering device of the tire building machine,sort out the design goals for each component,using modular approach to solve reliability issues in complex systems,innovating locally to address key challenges,and using finite element analysis for system optimization.After completing the design,through producing,assembly and adjustment,to accomplish engineering application to confirm the rationality of this research.Firstly,the development history of radial tire and the types of tire building machine is introduced,the importance of the transfering device is pointed out,and then analyze the main components of the transfering device:the belt transfer-ring,the bead transfer-ring,the laser marker,the belt drum and belt drum station,carcass drum and carcass drum station,bed of transfering device.After related typical structure and characteristics have been summarized,the existing problems of the current transfering device have been identified,the design goals of this research is established.Secondly,combined with the design goals of the transfering device and the modular design method,structural innovation,computational analysis,and finite element analysis were carried out on those transfering accuracy,clamping accuracy,transfering speed,and clamping speed of the relevant components.Through finite element analysis,iterative optimization was carried out to obtain better design results.Innovative design of all-range belt transferring,when the number of clamps is greater than 11,the roundness and symmetry of the tire crown are greatly improved.To address the reliability risks associated with the operation of transfering devices,a reliability system engineering technology integration platform is established to analyze and test key components.Finally,based on the design goals of the transfering device,the key indicators and methods for producing,assembly and adjustment were established.The transfering device is applied in engineering application on the customer’s plant,the A-grade product rate is 2.1% higher than that of our competitor’s equipment,while the dynamic average value has decreased by 3g,and the rationality of the transfering device design of the tire building machine is verified.
