Research On The Application Of Anshun Nuo Mask Art In Creative Clothing Design

Nuo is the oldest dance in China that worships gods and dances ghosts,repels plagues and avoids epidemics,and represents Anqing.Anshun Nuo Mask,also known as "Face",is a wooden carving mask worn in Anshun local opera performances.It stands out among the various types of Nuo masks in China with its unique shape,complex patterns,and rich color combinations.Nuo masks are the embodiment of Anshun Tunpu culture,and behind each mask of heroic characters are filled with traditional Chinese culture and national spirit.Due to the lack of knowledge of Nuo culture among modern people,this excellent traditional Chinese folk art cannot be effectively developed.This article collects and arranges relevant data on Anshun Nuo masks through literature research,image research,and other methods.On this basis,it conducts a field visit to the Anshun Nuo Sculpture Museum.Combining with the collection of folk intangible cultural heritage inheritors,it collects a large amount of image data,and conducts a comprehensive study of the artistic characteristics of Anshun Nuo masks,The specific research on the application of Anshun Nuo mask art in creative clothing design is divided into the following four parts:1、The origin and development of Chinese Nuo culture and Anshun Nuo masks are analyzed in detail.The distribution of Chinese Nuo culture and the types of Nuo masks are graphically analyzed,and the types and production techniques of Anshun Nuo masks are described in detail.2、Summarize the dominant artistic characteristics(shape,pattern,color)and invisible characteristics(cultural connotation)of the Nuo masks in Anshun and summarize them in the form of charts,while comparing them with the Nuo masks in other regions of China;3、Combining the characteristics of creative clothing,this paper analyzes the application cases of Anshun Nuo mask in creative clothing and other fields,and summarizes the application methods and value of Anshun Nuo mask in creative clothing;4、Combining the previous theoretical research and design practice,through the practice of transforming the patterns of the Nuo mask in Anshun,the patterns and silhouette elements in the mask are extracted and applied to clothing,ultimately completing a creative clothing design with strong aesthetic and artistic value.Through comprehensive and in-depth theoretical and practical research on Anshun Nuo masks,it is found that combining Anshun Nuo masks with creative clothing design should fully understand its cultural connotation,making clothing a carrier of traditional culture and conveying national style.While paying attention to the application of artistic characteristics of Anshun Nuo masks,we should combine modern technology to achieve the transformation of three-dimensional modeling of Anshun Nuo masks in creative clothing design,broaden the development space of Anshun Nuo masks in modern life,provide reference for future designers to use Anshun Nuo mask elements in creative clothing,and contribute to the promotion of Anshun Nuo culture and the dynamic inheritance of Anshun Nuo masks.
