| In recent years,although the quality of food safety in China had steadily improved,there were still some food safety problems.In this study,the food safety sampling data of Loudi City for 2019-2021 were used as the subject of study.The general situation of food safety in Loudi City was analyzed.The information on failed items,regional distribution and sampling quarter distribution of failed samples were summarized.The top five food groups with high failure rates were selected for analysis of specific products.A food safety satisfaction survey was conducted for 1,549 residents in Loudi City and 12 core food safety sampling staff,as well as a walk-in survey.The survey was used to ask questions and make recommendations for the regulation of food safety in Loudi City.The main findings were as follows.(1)During the period 2019-2021,Loudi City’s food safety sampling covered 30 major food categories.A total of 6377 batches of samples were sampled.A total of 147 batches of samples were found unsatisfactory in 11 food categories,including edible produce and beverages.The sample passing rate was 97.7%.A total of 147 batches of samples were detected as unsatisfactory in 11 food categories,including edible agricultural products and beverages.The four major categories of edible agricultural products,beverages,convenience food and catering food were all detected with unsatisfactory samples in the three years.The unsatisfactory items were divided into seven categories,which included microorganisms,veterinary drug residues,prohibited drugs,physical and chemical indicators,food additives,pesticide residues and heavy metals.In 2019,2020 and 2021,42,54 and 57 unqualified items were detected respectively.Louxing district had the highest number of overall unsatisfactory batches(44 batches).Lianyuan district had the lowest overall pass rate(97.1%).The quarterly distribution of sampling was unreasonable,with its concentration in the third and fourth quarters in 2019-2020.98.7% of the public were satisfied with the quality of food safety in Loudi City.(2)Among the edible agricultural products,aquatic products had the lowest pass rate,with only 93.5%.The main products that failed were bullfrogs and loaches(exceeding the standard for enrofloxacin).Among raw and dried nuts and seeds,the failure rate for black sesame products was as high as 60.0%(exceeding the acidity limit).The passing rate of catering food was 96.8%,which involved six types of catering home-made food products such as marinated duck rack and marinated duck claw(exceeding the standard for nitrite,etc.)and eight types of self-pasteurized tableware such as stainless steel dinner plates and stew pots(exceeding the standard for E.coli,etc.).The passing rate of convenience foods was 95.9%,involving five types of products such as Changsha stinky tofu and Weilong spicy sticks(exceeding the standard for total bacterial count).The qualified rate of beverage was 91.9%,and the product categories were barreled drinking water(Pseudomonas aeruginosa exceeded the standard).The pass rate for frozen beverages was 91.3%,involving green bean popsicles and green bean smoothies(exceeding the standard for total bacterial count).(3)The following were the main problems of food safety in Loudi City.The concept of regulation was outdated and the way of regulation was too simple.The level of sampling staff varied.The distribution of sampling quarters was unreasonable.In a short period of time,some businesses or enterprises were frequently sampled.The production staff of enterprises had a weak awareness of safety and production management methods were backward.Some merchants and enterprises did not update their production status and location information in a timely manner.Some businesses or enterprises refused to be sampled.Consumers were not motivated to participate in regulation.(4)The main countermeasures for food safety in Loudi City were as follows.the construction of a comprehensive food safety monitoring platform and a regulatory legal system,the implementation of the main responsibility of enterprises for food safety;the strengthening of the construction of the supervisory staff and the strict implementation of the penalty system;the strengthening of the training of sampling personnel for safety sampling;the rational and scientific formulation of sampling programs;the establishment of a dynamic database of information on production and business enterprises;supervision of enterprises’ cooperation with food sampling and inspection work.improvement of the safety management model,improvement of the awareness of the management and production staff of safety production,and timely disclosure of information about the enterprise.Consumers should actively participate in food safety monitoring and contribute to food safety in Loudi City. |
