Since 1990,environmental protection has increasingly become a great concern of all countries in the world.Enterprise managers and government decision makers have constantly improved their awareness of green development,and gradually introduced environmental factors into the daily operation of enterprises and government policy research,thus the concept of green innovation was proposed.In addition to the basic characteristics of traditional innovation promoting technological progress to boost economic development,green innovation requires that the prerequisite for innovation is to reduce unnecessary resource input and reduce the pressure on natural environment costs.Therefore,it is important for enterprises to identify the factors affecting green innovation and study the influence of green innovation on enterprise performance on this basis.This thesis takes Gree Electric as a case enterprise,and studies the driving factors of Gree Electric’s green innovation behavior and the impact of green innovation behavior on enterprise performance in the form of case study according to the logical relationship of "behavior driving factors-green innovation behavior-enterprise performance".After sorting and summarizing the relevant concepts and theories,this thesis starts with introducing the basic information of Gree Electric’s financial situation,social responsibility performance and green innovation development process;Secondly,identify and conclude the driving factors of Gree Electric’s green innovation behavior,and analyze the mechanism of the driving factors of the green innovation behavior;Then,it analyzes the mechanism of the impact of Gree Electric’s green innovation behavior on enterprise performance,and analyzes the influence of green innovation behavior on enterprise performance from financial performance,environmental performance and social performance;Finally,based on the research on the driving factors of green innovation behavior,with the impact of green innovation behavior on enterprise performance,put forward policy recommendations and management implications.The research shows the driving factors of Gree Electric’s green innovation behavior can be divided into four categories: institutional guidance,market orientation,organizational support and external network relations.Further,the driving factors can be summarized into institutional factors,market factors and organizational factors.Although green innovation behavior is not the most important factor affecting the performance of Gree Electric,from the perspective of financial performance,Gree Electric’s implementation of green innovation behavior can promote enterprise’s comprehensive financial performance.From the perspective of environmental performance,Gree Electric’s annual carbon dioxide emission reduction and standard coal saving have been on the rise in recent years,and its ammonia nitrogen emission has been continuously reduced,with remarkable results in energy conservation and emission reduction.From the perspective of social performance,Gree Electric’s customer satisfaction and brand value have been continuously improved,and it attaches importance to the improvement of employees’ interests and working environment,and actively performs its social responsibilities.The policy suggestions to strengthen Gree Electric’s green innovation and boost the performance of enterprise include: increasing policy support and optimizing the market innovation environment;improving information disclosure mechanism and strengthening environmental protection regulation;stimulating green consumption demand and improving market competitiveness.The management implications include: optimizing the allocation of core resources and increasing green innovation;enhancing green innovation capability and coordinating to improve enterprise performance. |
