Emulsion explosive is the most widely used explosive in domestic engineering blasting, which is used in mining, building demolition, explosive welding and other fields. In order to explore the effects of biodiesel on the internal phase characteristics, thermal stability, explosion performance and vibration resistance of two commonly used emulsion explosives, five groups of traditional package emulsion explosives(hereinafter referred to as traditional emulsion explosives)matrix samples and four groups of on-site mixed emulsion explosive matrix samples were prepared by changing the mass fraction of biodiesel in the system. The microstructure, internal phase particle size and distribution of the two explosive matrix samples were observed and measured by optical microscope and laser particle size analyzer. The thermal decomposition process of the two matrix samples was detected by STA thermal analyzer. The kinetic characteristic parameters and the most probable reaction mechanism function of the samples were calculated by Ozawa method,Kissinger method and ?atava-?esták method. The detonation velocity and brisance of traditional emulsion explosive samples were measured by time measuring instrument method and lead column compression method. The matrix samples of on-site mixed emulsion explosive were interfered by vibration using a variable speed oscillation instrument. The microstructure changes of the samples after different interference time were observed by microscope, and the dissolution rate of the samples was determined by water dissolution method. The main conclusions are as follows :(1)With the increase of biodiesel content, the internal particle size of traditional emulsion explosive matrix samples first increased and then decreased, and the distribution uniformity of internal particles first increased and then decreased. The best effect was achieved when the biodiesel content was 3% of the oil phase material. For field mixed emulsion explosive matrix samples, when there is biodiesel in the system, the particle size of the internal phase is generally smaller than that of the matrix samples without biodiesel, and the uniformity of particle distribution is better than that of the samples without biodiesel.(2)With the increase of biodiesel content, the thermal stability of the two emulsion explosive matrix samples increased first and then decreased. For the traditional emulsion explosive matrix, the reaction mechanism changes from boundary strain to three-dimensional diffusion and then to boundary reaction with the increase of biodiesel content,in which the sample with 2% biodiesel content has the best thermal stability. For the mixed emulsion explosive matrix, the reaction mechanism changes from random nucleation and subsequent growth to three-dimensional diffusion with the increase of biodiesel content, and the sample with 20% biodiesel content has the best thermal stability.(3)When the content of biodiesel is less than 4%,the explosion performance of conventional emulsion explosive changes little. The difference between the maximum and minimum values of detonation velocity in the five groups of samples prepared is only 42m/s,and the range of compression ratio of two kinds of lead column is only0.0029 and 0.0059,indicating that adding a small amount of biodiesel will not affect the explosion performance of emulsion explosive.(4)The change of biodiesel content will lead to differences in the anti-vibration performance of field mixed emulsion explosive matrix samples. With the increase of biodiesel content, the anti-vibration performance of field mixed emulsion explosive matrix samples first increased and then decreased. With the increase of vibration period, the particle size of the matrix samples increased, and Austenitic ripening and polymerization occurred. At the same time, the dissolution rate of the samples increased. The sample with 20% biodiesel content had the best performance, and the sample with 60% oil phase material had the worst performance.Figure [21] Table [15] Reference [91]...
