In coal mine enterprises,the work behavior decision of miners is closely related to the safety production status and safety performance of enterprises.Safety behavior belongs to the category of work behavior.How to improve the safety behavior level of miners has always been the focus of enterprises management and the focus of scholars’ research.Individual traits are the key factors influencing safety behavior.Work values are the individual distinctive characteristics,which represent individual beliefs in treating work,and play an important role in guiding work behavior.However,in the coal field,miners’ work values have received less attention.In order to better grasp the mechanism that affects safety behavior,this paper explores the influence mechanism of work values on safety behavior from the perspective of coal miners.The influence of work values on safety behavior occurs at the individual level,and is bound to be affected by other factors.Based on theory of self-verification and social cognition,the mediator variable of psychological empowerment and the adjustment variable of safety climate are introduced.Drawing on the existing research results,the research hypotheses of coal miners’ work values on safety behavior are put forward,and then a conceptual model is constructed.This paper collected data by questionnaire survey,and analyzed them with the help of data statistics software.Firstly,the valid samples were selected by screening and eliminating the collected questionnaires.Secondly,the valid sample data was preliminarily analyzed,and then the hierarchical regression analysis and Bootstrap were used to further test the research hypotheses.The research results show that work values and three dimensions have a positive impact on miners’psychological empowerment;work values and three dimensions have a positive impact on miners’ safety behavior;psychological empowerment has a positive impact on miners’safety behavior and two dimensions;psychological empowerment is partially mediating between work values and miners’ safety behavior,fully mediating between comfort and safety and safety behavior,status and independence and safety behavior,and partially mediating between competence and growth and safety behavior;the regulating effect of the safety climate is not significant.This paper clarifies the mechanism of coal miners’ work values on safety behavior,and explores the mode and intensity of the role in the middle.It also expands the research on the impact of work values on safety behavior,and enriches the management methods of coal miners’ safety behavior.According to the research results and analysis,this paper provides practical guidance and suggestions to improve the safety behavior level of miners from the individual and organizational level,in order to reduce the occurrence of dangerous accidents.
