In September 2020,China set a target of peaking carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.To achieve peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality,the coal industry needs to accelerate its low-carbon and clean transformation,build an environmentally friendly,low-carbon,safe and efficient energy supply system,implement cross-sector and energy integration,and promote green and sustainable development.On the road to achieving carbon neutrality,coal companies,especially large coal companies,face many challenges and need to adjust their sustainable development strategies in a timely manner.Therefore,in the context of achieving carbon neutrality,how China Coal Xinji Group,as a large coal enterprise,can complete its green transformation and development is a key issue that needs to be addressed urgently.China Coal Xinji Group Limited,located in Huainan City(Anhui),the equity of this company is subordinate to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission(SASAC),which is a typical state-owned enterprise.Before the company was created,it was the State Investment New Set Joint Stock Company,which was also an investment made by state-owned assets.At the beginning of the construction of this joint stock company,especially at the end of 1997,companies such as Guohua Energy and State Investment Coal made contributions in accordance with certain proportions when the New Set Energy Company was restructured,and they accounted for 30% and 40% respectively,and another 20%was the General Coal and Electricity Company.Through more than a decade of development,the company has successfully registered as an A-share,and its main business is now the marketing and development of mineral resources.On the basis of comprehensive domestic and international research,this thesis takes China Coal Xinji Group Company as the object of empirical research,under the guidance of theories of enterprise core competitiveness,core competitiveness of coal enterprises,carbon neutral concept and value,etc.,and based on the characteristics of China Coal Xinji Group Company and the actual development and construction of the enterprise,the GEM factor analysis model and core competitiveness evaluation model are adopted.Finally,by collecting data on the core competitiveness evaluation indicators of China Coal Xinji Group Corporation from 2018 to 2020,the results of the core competitiveness evaluation indicators of China Coal Xinji Group Corporation from 2018 to 2020 were derived,and based on the evaluation results,countermeasures and suggestions for the sustainable development of China Coal Xinji Group Corporation were proposed to improve the core competitiveness of the enterprise.Developing and strengthening the core competitiveness of Chinese coal enterprises is not only a positive response to national environmental challenges,but also a need for the sustainable development of the industry.Through the analysis and study of the competitiveness evaluation system of China Coal Xinji Group,the study of coal enterprises’ development has shifted from reactive post-event management to proactive prevention.The research in this thesis is of great practical significance to coal enterprises,as it enables them to escape from the reality of their business difficulties and obtain a more positive and healthy development space for them. |
