China’s traditional textile industry is a typical labor-intensive industry.With the rising cost of labor,the demand for automation equipment in this industry is also growing,and the product specifications of corresponding equipment manufacturing enterprises are increasing,resulting in a variety of parts,which brings difficulties in production and subsequent new product development.In this paper,according to the actual needs of enterprises,the modular design method of automatic sewing equipment is proposed,and the corresponding software platform is developed.This paper mainly completed the following research work:(1)Drawing coding rules and classification.In this paper,the drawings of several automatic seaming equipment in an enterprise are collected,the principle scheme and product structure of each equipments are analyzed,and the coding rules are formulated to classify the drawings,which lays a foundation for the modular design of products and the establishment of drawing database.(2)Build a modular design software system architecture.Using software integrated modular design ideas of automatic seam edge equipment software system platform to build a comprehensive analysis of the demand of the software system of modular design,the modularization design software system framework design,detailed drawings from the user management,management,the standard module to generate,new product development and database management,the five aspects to system design and function analysis,and chose to develop the software system development environment,development language,database development technology,and CAD software.(3)Research on modular design method of automatic hemming equipment.The products are divided into modules from the structural level,functional level,and data representation l evel.The evaluation system of similarity between the two parts is established and the correlation matrix of each level is obtained.The weight corresponding to the ratio of each layer is given to obtain the comprehensive strength relationship between the two components.The evaluation principle of the standard module is formulated.After the comparison and analysis of similar modules,the standard module is designed to form the standard module.Finally,taking a piece of certain equipment as an example,the modular design method of this paper is verified.(4)Research on key technologies of software development and programming implementation.In the Visual Studio software platform,based on the secondary development of Solidworks,Sql Server software was used to establish the drawing database and connect it with the software system platform,and the three functions of drawing information management,modular design and new product development were completed respectively.(5)New product development and application.Based on the proposed method and modular design software,the mechanical structure design and appearance design of the new product are carried out,and the simulation animation is made by using Cinema 4D,which provides convenience for the assembly and debugging,function description,publicity,and display of the company’s new product development.The research results show that the modular design method can simplify the number of modules,reduce the cost of equipment development and production to a certain extent,improve the design efficiency of new product development,and have important practical application value for guiding the research and development and production practice of small enterprises.
