Research On The Green Innovation Path And Economic Consequences Of Coal Enterprise

China’s economy is transforming from high-speed development to high-quality development.The National 14 th Five-Year Plan puts forward the "building a beautiful China,fulfilling the requirements of winning the battle against pollution and promoting synergic efficiency in reducing pollution and carbon".The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the CPC put forward the following: "We will more consciously promote green development,circular development and low-carbon development,and adhere to the path of civilized development featuring increased production,a prosperous life and a sound ecological environment." The coal industry is an important pillar of economic development,but its high energy consumption and high pollution become challenges in the implementation of the "two-carbon" goal.Based on the externality theory,stakeholder theory,resource-based theory and relevant research results of green innovation path,this paper takes Shenhua China,a leading coal enterprise,as an example to study the driving factors,innovation path and economic consequences of green innovation activities of coal enterprises,and draws the following main conclusions:(1)The choice of green innovation path of coal enterprises is influenced by many internal and external factors,among which external environmental regulation,market environment,internal corporate governance structure,enterprise innovation ability and organizational culture are key driving factors.(2)There are three paths for green innovation in coal enterprises: green technology innovation,green organization innovation and green industrial chain innovation.China Shenhua chooses the collaborative innovation path that focuses on green technology innovation and is supplemented by organizational innovation and industrial chain innovation.(3)The economic consequences of Shenhua’s implementation of green innovation path are mainly reflected in the following aspects: clean production and emission reduction through green technology innovation,thus reducing costs and increasing economic benefits;Through green organization innovation to improve management efficiency,but also enhance the sustainable development ability of enterprises;Through green industry chain innovation and green transportation management concept,energy conservation and consumption reduction projects are carried out to reduce pollution and transportation costs and form price advantages,thus improving financial performance.This paper further enriche and expands the application of externality theory and stakeholder theory in the field of green innovation research,and gives enlightenments in promoting coal enterprise green innovation on the basis of case studies,which helps to further promote our country coal enterprise green innovation process and provides practical basis for relevant policy formulation.
