| In the social background of rapid economic development and emphasis on education,this paper takes school-age children’s learning furniture as the research object,starting from the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics and needs of school-age children,the modular concept is integrated into it,and it is intended to study a kind of interactive learning furniture for school-age children that focuses on children’s growth and creates an interesting environment.Firstly,this paper summarizes and refines the theory of children’s development law and characteristic application of modular furniture in relevant literature,and finds that large-scale and standardized modular design is helpful to the application and development of children’s furniture.Secondly,questionnaire survey,interview and network market survey are used to conduct in-depth research on most school-age children’s learning furniture and consumers and users of this kind of furniture in the market.The feedback of the survey data is summarized,which provides content support for the future furniture design.Then,based on the theoretical research of children’s furniture and modular furniture,the innovative application of modular design concept to school-age children’s learning furniture is verified by examples,and the verification results are feasible and scientific.The innovation of this paper lies in the following three points.First,on the basis of children’s physiological and psychological characteristics,the behavioral needs of children are also classified as the focus of the study of learning furniture.Second,children’s learning furniture is divided into a whole,but not limited to the whole,modular structure to meet the needs of children and even young families.Thirdly,in the concrete modular design of children’s furniture,furniture is deconstructed to the smallest unit module,and the combination of most general modules can form a variety of furniture categories.Compared with the traditional production mode,this mode will reduce the production cost and increase the efficiency because there are fewer parts modules and no assembly is required.For consumers,simple disassembly and assembly combined with powerful functionality increases the use of personalization.The results of this paper show that the application of modular design theory can guide the research and development of school-age children learning furniture,and contribute to the indepth development of children’s furniture direction. |
