| Ecosystem Product Value,also known as Gross Ecosystem Product(GEP),is an effective means of evaluating resource and environmental benefits.In recent years,conducting GEP accounting,analyzing the potential for sustainable development of regional ecological environment,exploring the integration of ecological benefits into economic and social development decisions,and realizing GEP has received much more attention.Enshi Prefecture is a national key ecological functional area,an important ecological resource protection area in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and Hubei Province.Although it is rich in resources,its economic development is relatively backward.Accounting GEP,analyzing its spatiotemporal changes and influencing factors,has important practical significance for refined management of natural resources and exploration of realizing GEP.Therefore,taking Enshi Prefecture as an example,this article first accouts the GEP in Enshi Prefecture,then calculates and analyzes the ecosystem product output level index and spatiotemporal change characteristics,and finally explores and analyzes the main influencing factors and reasons of GEP.The research provides a complete example of GEP accounting and researching,which can provide valuable reference for conducting regional GEP accounting and resource environmental benefit assessment.The main work and results are as follows:(1)Using multi-source data and the functional value method to calculate the GEP in Enshi Prefecture from 2011 to 2020.Over the past 10 years,the average annual GEP in Enshi Prefecture was 665.85 billion yuan,much higher than GDP.The proportion of GEP showed a trend of regulating service value>cultural service value>material supply value.From 2011 to 2020,the GEP has been growing with an average annual growth rate of 1.33%.The growth rate shows a trend of material supply value growth>cultural service value growth>regulated service value growth.(2)Using the entropy method and weighted summation model,calculate the ecosystem product output level index.Over the past 10 years,the material supply output level index of various counties and cities in Enshi Prefecture has fluctuated between0.0426 to 0.1297,the regulated service output level index has fluctuated between 0.0590 to 0.1291,the cultural service output level index has fluctuated between 0.0364 to 0.1537,and the ecological product output level index has fluctuated between 0.0586 to 0.1530.Each index has obvious differences in different counties and cities,with spatial heterogeneity.(3)Using the spatiotemporal geographic weighted(GTWR)model,explore the main influencing factors of GEP.The results showed that average annual precipitation,forest land area,per capita GDP,and urbanization rate had a significant impact on GEP(p<0.05),and the regression coefficients of different factors showed spatial differences among counties and cities.Among them,the average annual precipitation,forest land area,and per capita GDP have a positive impact on GEP.During the study period,the regression coefficient of the urbanization rate factor changes from negative to positive,and the impact of urbanization rate on GEP shows a threshold effect. |
