Research On The Path To Improve The Quality Of Environmental Information Disclosure Of WuXi AppTe

The pharmaceutical industry in China is closely related to people’s livelihoods,which not only benefits society but also brings serious environmental pollution.In this process,environmental information disclosure can effectively urge enterprises to carry out environmental governance,showcase the achievements of enterprise environmental governance,and help stakeholders more comprehensively evaluate the financial performance of enterprises,thereby affecting their value.Improving the environmental information disclosure system and improving the quality of environmental information disclosure in the pharmaceutical industry is conducive to achieving coordinated and sustainable development of the pharmaceutical industry’s economy and environment.It can also provide reference for other industries and optimize the development model of China’s economic system.This article first selects China’s leading pharmaceutical company in the A-share pharmaceutical sector,Wu Xi App Tec,as a case enterprise to sort out and summarize its environmental information disclosure status.Secondly,the basic situation of the case company Wu Xi App Tec was introduced,and a quality evaluation system for environmental information disclosure of pharmaceutical listed companies was constructed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process.A total of 5 categories and 17 specific indicators were designed.Subsequently,the shortcomings of Wu Xi App Tec in environmental information disclosure were analyzed,and the influencing factors of environmental information disclosure were explored from three aspects:internal enterprise,policy,and social supervision.During the process,it was found that the current policy has a limited impact on the quality of environmental information disclosure,and factors limiting the quality of environmental information disclosure by Wu Xi App Tec are more common in the industry,including the management’s emphasis on environmental governance,the separation of two positions,the exercise conditions of equity incentives,internal factors of employee structure,and external factors such as incomplete relevant systems and insufficient social supervision work.Finally,from the perspective of enterprises,identify ways to improve the quality of environmental information disclosure.The research in this article enriches the quality evaluation system of environmental information disclosure for pharmaceutical listed companies,and has certain practical significance for the improvement measures proposed for disclosure.It is hoped that it can provide reference for other pharmaceutical companies while solving the practical problems of Wu Xi App Tec,and promote the continuous improvement of environmental information disclosure work in China.
