Research On The Recycling And Redesign Of Waste Glass

In recent years,with the rapid growth of the glass industry,the number and types of waste glass have increased day by day,becoming one of the main sources of domestic waste.However,waste glass is a waste that cannot be incinerated,cannot be naturally degraded in landfills,and cannot be decomposed and treated by general physical and chemical methods,which also contains heavy metals such as zinc and copper,and burying them will pollute soil and groundwater.Therefore,how to recycle and redesign waste glass and play the sustainable value is an urgent problem in front of us.This paper adopts literature research,field research,user interviews,analysis and induction and other research methods,and first studies the current situation of recycling and reuse of waste glass,and finds the main reasons affecting the recycling rate.Secondly,based on the theory of recycling and sustainable design,through case analysis,the general methods of recycling and redesign were summarized,glass materials were understood,and feasibility analysis was carried out from three aspects:society,market and economy.Finally,taking engineering,practicality and safety as the design principles,and Vi P product design rules as the design strategy,a three-layer model and design process for waste glass recycling and redesign are constructed based on the rules,and the existing products and ideal products are analyzed from the three levels of product,interaction and context by defining the design scope,collecting and constructing contextual factors,defining statements,designing the interaction relationship between products and users,and defining product characteristics,etc.,so as to promote the continuous deepening and productization of redesign.The design practice takes waste glass bottles as the object,comprehensively uses the above research theories and methods,combines deconstruction and reorganization,borrowing,transformation and decoration design methods,and designs a series of tableware for waste glass bottles,giving new definition and value to waste glass bottles,and providing theoretical and practical reference for the subsequent recycling and redesign of waste glass products.It is hoped that more redesign research will appear in the future,so that waste products can achieve recycling that minimizes pollution and maximizes value,promotes the harmonious development of ecological society,and realizes economic and ecological sustainability.
