Novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19)is mainly transmitted through droplets,which can cause respiratory diseases and further cause pneumonia.Its early strain has caused large-scale infection,severe disease and even death in a short time.The rapid outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has made China’s demand for medical protective equipment such as masks reach an unprecedented height.Due to the singular nature of protective equipment,users often experience discomfort or even injury after long-term wear.The epidemic has also expanded the user base and usage scenarios of personal medical protective equipment,which has put forward higher requirements for it.Therefore,it is necessary to adopt scientific design methods as guidance,introduce new technologies reasonably,and design a new type of medical protective mask that can better meet user needs and improve user experience.To cope with the current COVID-19 as a serious challenge for medical protection work.This article proposes the design and research of modular medical protective masks based on user experience to address the issues of medical protective products.Based on the market status of existing medical face protection products and the research summary at home and abroad,this paper compares the advantages and disadvantages of various types of face protection products,discusses the theoretical basis of user experience design and the status quo of application research,and establishes the importance of user experience design for the design of medical face protection products.On this basis,this article proposes the research content and methods.By using various methods such as observational research,questionnaire surveys,and user interviews,we collected user needs and focused on conducting user research and establishing user models.At the same time,we conducted feasibility analysis on adopting modular design methods and citing 3D printing technology.By using the AEIOU framework,the user needs and pain points of medical protective masks were further organized.Combined with the three-level theory of user experience,design elements and establishment process based on user experience were obtained.Based on this,user needs and technical advantages were successfully transformed into design elements and solutions.A modular medical protective mask with 9functional modules was designed,and the fixed mode Functional modules,materials,and processes were analyzed and designed.Finally,the effectiveness and feasibility of the product were verified through the evaluation of the design scheme,and its shortcomings were summarized and analyzed.The new protective mask has a flexible and replaceable structure,which can be customized and assembled according to different usage scenarios and personal needs.At the same time,this product has advantages such as complete functionality,safe use,suitable fit,and beautiful appearance.Practice has shown that a modular medical protective mask design scheme based on user experience is feasible and can guide the development and improvement direction of future medical protective products.
